Corinna's POV After putting the book back into the box, I slipped it under my father's bed. Panic coursed through me when I realised I was kneeling on the floor. I quickly ran out to grab a bucket and rushed to the river to fill it. Once the bucket was filled, I hurried back to the house and used a little rose water to wash the floor.
