CHAPTER 26
Frank was in for more surprises as he followed Sasha and Nancy into a hall in the basement of Psychedelic Shack. The small hall was as gaudily furnished as the store upstairs. Sitting behind a huge table at the furthermost end was a white guy, head shaved clean. He wore a colorful dashiki – which looked quite alien to his very English looks. He also wore dark aviator sunglasses. Behind him, and scattered around the hall were several African carvings. Behind him also stood Casper who winked at Frank and gave him an amused smile.
It got more bizarre as he looked. Scattered around the hall were several pod chairs and on one of them sat Rupinder. She didn’t look anyhow like Rupinder though. Gone were the sari and the golden ornaments. She now wore a bright flowered long-sleeved bl
