Vaughn looked at the time and sighed.
The party already started, yet he had just arrived.
He originally told Alina that he wouldn’t be able to make it to her birthday party, but his meeting ended earlier than expected, so he decided to come.
He arrived at the yacht at around 10 PM, still in his suit. He removed his tie and undid some of the buttons on his suit before going out.
The party he paid for was in full blast as he arrived. The people looked over his way and pointed at him in amazement.
He saw Alina’s friend, Amy, and held onto her arm.
“Where’s Alina?” he asked.
“Vaughn?” Amy asked, surprised. Alina mentioned to her that he wouldn’t be coming. As a result, she wanted to let loose and flirt a bit with other guys. Right now, Alina's probably making out with somebody else.
