Werewolf Apocalypse

Chapter 9

"I wasn't requesting newbie. Just informing" he said before picking me up and throwing me on his shoulders and carrying me to the so called boss.

Oh moon goddess. Save me.

"Hey put me down" I shouted throwing a few pathetic excuses of punches in his back, which was nothing of course.

The surprising fact is nobody seemed to care about the scenario that we were creating, this might be a normal case here. He took me all the way to the middle of the room, I thought we were heading to the rabbits but he was part of the vultures. He put me back to my feet but when I attempted to move away, he put his strong arm on my waist holding me still.

"Wow, I like that. Brave soul, cool" a boy in the middle said as he slowly stood up freeing himself from two girls who were massaging his shoulders. He shook his shoulders twice and came closer.

"I can help you with that" he told the boy that was holding my waist.

"The pleasure is all mine to be in presence newbie" he said as he gripped my waist and pushed his body to me. "I'm kayden but you must call me the vulture" he whispered too close to my ear that I could smell the chips he have been eating.

"Your name is just as disgusting as you" I said as I struggled to put as much distance between us as possible.

Before I could register what happened, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach and that means a punch, a good one at it. A metallic test filled my mouth indicating blood, and I mixed it with saliva and spit it directly in the face of the boy who just punched me.

"Your reward" I said with small silly giggles. While he got ready to attack this time more fiercer.

"Stop" the Kayden boy shouted and the one who was about to hit me stood still."Cassie, your job" he said before a girl came forward and cleaned the boys face removing my saliva and blood.

"I need a word with you in private" Kayden said as he pulled me away from the group and outside the dining room before we disappeared in the shadows of the nearby tree.

"I'm not going any further" I declared as he pulled me deeper in the shadows.

"Hey, pretty ass don't you dare try me. I'm the vulture you don't get to talk back to me let alone object my wish" he said with a tone that could shake the ground before he started walking waiting for me to follow him.

"I'm not going any further" I repeated. He turned back and I expected a punch right across my face but what followed was a total surprise.

"Great, looks like you took your grounds" he said patting my back in a f*****g dumb way causing to shrug my shoulders making his hands for to his sides as he throw his head back in laughter.

"Okay here is the deal" he said becoming serious and calm in fractions of a second. " I protect you myself and you join the vultures group" he said. He can't be serious right? Im not joining any group even though that pits me in grasses.

"No" i said staring straight into his dirty green orbs. 

"Why the hell won't you join vultures? This is a one in a lifetime opportunity" he said as frustration became evident in his face.

"Because I wasn't meant to be something as cheap as a vulture. I'm a wolf" I said as I saw him battle with his wolf which was fighting to take control. "Beyond that, I didn't sign up to be anyone's person maid like cassie" 

"That's enough " he all but shouted  at me.

" by the way why would you stoop this low? Bullying a grass? I'm impressed.".I said before his fist was connected to my left cheek, right rib and stomach, in a mater of seconds, I was on the ground holding onto my stomach to ease the pain.

"Hey, if we are doing this..." I started pausing to cough up more blood " I'll need to text someone" I said as I pulled out my phone and texted Mia.

"Looks like I'll be late. Got an interesting party to attend" I typed as quick as possible so that he won't have time to double think and maybe break my phone.

"Now I'm ready" I said flushing him a smile which he kicked off my face with another punch on my left cheek again.

"Hey, can you hit the right one too. I don't want to lose all my left teeth"  I said.

And just like that the next thirty minutes passed by. I refused the deal and he walked way and just before I could go anywhere cassie stood in front of me like a fierce lioness ready to attack her prey. 

"And what did I do to you again" I raised and eyebrow at her angry face.

"You b***h. He have never lasted that long with me. Thirty minutes! Thirty f*****g minutes. " she said as she picked a handful of hair and shook me by the head. This is becoming funny.

After ten more minutes of beating me when I didn't know why, she left. How does someone beat you because you were beaten for thirty minutes?

I stood up dusted my uniform with my hands and started walking back to the dining room. '' That was a party. And interesting one at it" I said to myself.

When I reached the dining room door, I stopped mid_step as I decided I had to fetch my ID card first.

When the ID assistant heard my name, she searched for my ID but hesitated before giving it to me.

"Are you sure that your name is Ava Walker? You don't look like the photo here" she said double checking me .

"Too much make up." I replied before snatching my ID from her hands and walking back to my room.

"The party was really nice, I can see" Mia said as she took in my body and searching for the fist aid Kit.

"Yeap" I said as I sat down on my bed.

Kayden's POV

"That newbie caught my heart in just more than one way because of her brave soul" I told Marco my best friend.

"Even though I didn't succeed in making her a vulture, I'll make sure that I get her under my sheets and the sooner the better." 

"Poor girl she doesn't know what the world has in package for her" Marco said earning a slap from me.
