I and Maggi were deliberately working on the reports we got from Manhattan. There were several flaws in there that we had to sort out before I went there. Our relationship was progressing day by day and now I had to go for at least five days to sort the things there. I didn't want to go for so long away from her. I was still not sure that she would not get the nightmares again.
Maggi and Marcus told me that they needed to have a thorough investigation of the financial status of that branch. No one had left the office yet or resigned but a big amount of money was missing. It seemed that the person had taken his time to get the money.
