While Bianca was at the museum, Brian was hitting the grind in the office. He felt as if things were right where he left them when he moved away. Everyone was exactly as he had remembered them to be.
As he arrived at work, everyone greeted him with a friendly, “hello” and wanted to catch up with him. Some joked about him abandoning them and others played with the theory that he went to, ‘the dark side!’
Brian didn’t mind the playful banter. He just wanted to keep things very surface with his coworkers. Brian didn't want anyone to know about the most important thing happening in his life right now, which 100% involved Bianca! So, he played it casual and basically just talked about life in Maine, how beautiful it was, and how much he enjoyed being back home where he had grown up. He assumed that would have been enough to keep them off from his back.
He assumed wrong.
"Olivia has always been a city girl, Brian! How did she take the slower paced lifestyle of Maine," a co-worker named Patricia asked?
Patricia had worked with Brian for several years, so she knew Olivia a little bit from the times when she would stop into the office to see her husband.
"She is adjusting," he stated. "She started her own practice right out of the house," Brian noted proudly! "It seems to be really taking off, thanks to my mad marketing skills," he chuckled!
"Did she make the trip with you back to Boston,” Tara, another co-worker asked at the very same time that Mike Potter walked up to the gathered group?
"Ah yeah, she did," Brian had no choice but to say, knowing that Mike saw him with Bianca the day before.
He didn’t deny that she was his wife when Mike had asked. Hopefully, this will all play out. Brian hated lying.
"Oh good, bring her by sometime this week," Tara said in a friendly manner! “I’d love to catch up!”
Brian began to sweat. “s**t! How am I going to get out of this?” Brian knew he had to think fast.
Tara raised her eyebrows at Brian eagerly anticipating a response, that was clear wasn’t anything he wanted to talk about.
"Maybe. I think she is coming down with something, though," he stated! "I'm not sure if she'll be up for venturing out," he tried to cover his tracks!
The reason that Brian hated lying so much was because he just knew that he wasn't good at it.
Tara seemed to buy it. She let it slide and didn’t press him further.
"Your lovely wife seemed just fine last night when we met," Mike stated!
“And there we go!” Brian thought to himself.
Tara curiously looked between both Brian and Mike, confused what was happening.
“U thought she was ill,” Tara now came back into the conversation full force.
Brian deflected like a kid trying to play hide and seek using the appropriate amount of camouflage.
"Yeah, she woke up ill, Maybe it was something she ate, who knows," Brian noted! "Anyway, It's 8:30 now, guys; we had better hit the conference room," Brian deflected once again!
Thankfully it worked this time. It truly was time. They all looked at the clock and made their way down the glassed in hallway.
Brian's boss stood before the group. "It's good to see all your smiling faces. I tell you, it's going to be a gruesome week, so do your best to stay positive! Brian, thanks for coming! It's good to have you back," the big boss praised him. "Now... let's get down to business," Mr. Sharp commanded attention!
...........
At lunchtime, Brian sat alone in the commuter office and called Olivia after he had eaten his turkey wrap that he had purchased from the office cafeteria. He felt a whole lot of guilt. He realized that he hadn't checked in on her at all since he had arrived in Boston.
“What an ass I’ve been,” he thought in the moment.
When the phone call came in, Olivia got excited to see that it had been Brian. She had been waiting for his call and was surprised it didn’t come sooner.
"Hi Babe," he greeted her! "How are things at home," he asked caringly! “Are you okay?"
"Oh, they're good," she added! I got a new patient today," she happily admitted!
"That's great, Liv! I am so proud of you," he praised her! “I know you will be a great success!”
“What took you so long to call? Late nights?”
“Long days,” he chuckled.
"I have other news, Brian! But I want to tell you in person," she changed it up.
"Is it good news or bad news," he curiously asked, very much interested in what she had to say!
"Not telling," she said happily.
"It sounds good then! You're really going to make me wait until Saturday," he asked?
“Yes, Sir, I am," Olivia explained!
“Okay,” he gave in. He wasn’t in the mood to beg.
"Oh and Brian, can you do me one favor too?"
"Anything Liv," just name it," Brian expressed!
"I know we talked about using Bianca for this baby adventure...and I know she starts ovulating today," Olivia went on! "But can we please postpone this until I tell you my news," she asked?
Brian was shocked! Did she really not want him to try to have a baby this month? That was why they had Bianca come on the trip with him. Did she not want Bianca to be the surrogate any longer? Was she jealous of Bianca? Was Olivia pregnant herself? No, that couldn't be! She was on birth control, and even if she was, he knew she wouldn't go through with having it. Was Olivia sick? Maybe the news wasn't good, and she was putting on a brave front for him, he wondered. A million things flew through his head.
Brian felt like he had no other option but to agree to his wife’s demands. Thankfully, he and Bianca too, had talked about waiting.
"Absolutely Liv! This whole thing was your idea, remember? If you don't want to go through with it this month, then we'll wait or talk about what has changed," he explained.
"Good, Love! Thank you. And please, I'm sure this goes without saying, but don't be intimate with Bianca this week! We discussed that that would only occur going forward during her ovulation periods... when we were actually trying for a baby," Olivia made it clear!
"I remember, Liv," he assured her! "I have to go, Babe! Meetings begin again soon," Brian added.
"Okay! I love you, Brian," Olivia grinned on the other line. She knew that a smile made the person sound happy. So for this reason, she forced one upon her face.
"I love you too, Liv," he said goodbye and hung up.
He didn't know how to feel in that moment. Brian desperately wanted to know her news, and he desperately wanted to keep his promise to his wife! Although he knew that only one of those would be coming to fruition this week!
..........
Back at home, Olivia hung up the phone with her husband and cried. The forced smile had met its limits. She couldn’t fake it any longer. She had to release her emotions.
In her hands she held a shiny gold journal that she found in the guest house hallway the night before. She had every intention of not reading it and just putting it back. However, she couldn't resist. Olivia had this idea that she would find a lot of juicy gossip on Bianca. Much to her surprise, the whole thing was quite boring, she thought... that was until the Stantons came into her life.
No more was Bianca’s life just a boring mundane life. No. Now Bianca experienced happiness, lust, and love. In any other situation she would be so happy for Bianca. But these things all came at her expense, because it was her husband that was providing all of these things to Bianca nowadays.
Bianca had expressed in her journal just how much she enjoyed their time together at the coffee shop with Brian, how much they had in common, and how they were almost like soul mates.
Olivia fake gagged as she read Bianca’s words. Clearly Bianca was reading too much into her attention from Brian,” Olivia thought. Brian never mentioned feeling this way towards her. However, he must have given her someone reason to be writing all of this. Olivia sobbed a little now.
Bianca had then written explicitly about their s****l encounters together. She discussed her very first orgasm and his first time performing oral s*x on her.
“WTF,” Olivia now wiped her tears. This news pissed Olivia off!
“That was not part of the deal,” she fumed! “How could he do this to me?”
Bianca then went into writing about how kind he was toward her. She wrote about how he rescued her from a bad date. Olivia didn't know about any of this either. Brian was her knight and shining armor!
She had written about a Magical Lighthouse that he took her to. How they made love in the Jeep and then carved their initials in the building. She said she loved him! Yes... Bianca loved her husband. It was apparent that his feelings for her were also quite strong! Or maybe, just maybe Bianca was a liar, Olivia hoped.
Olivia read on as Bianca talked about how the Lighthouse was their special place to be together! Brian never took Olivia to this Magical Lighthouse that he went to as a child. This place was apparently special to him, and he hadn't even so much as told her about it.
Olivia sobbed!
Grabbing the journal again, Olivia slipped her keys from the tray and jumped into her car. She needed to find the answer to this mystery. Bianca had provided enough direction in her journal as to where this mystery lighthouse could be located, and Olivia was determined to find it.
After driving around for a good 20 minutes on the back roads near the bar that Bianca had gone too with her date, Olivia turned down a dead-end path. Much to her surprise, there it was, an old abandoned lighthouse.
It was beautiful, Olivia had to admit. She couldn’t understand why if it was important to her husband, why he never brought her there. They were supposed to tell each other everything. They were supposed to mean everything to one another.
Olivia was on a mission. She knew that this would be solid proof of what Bianca wrote about in her journal. If she found what Bianca had written about then it was likely that the rest was all true, as well.
Walking towards the lighthouse, she got a pit that built up in her stomach. This was it. Her whole life could change in this moment. Then right in front of her, there it was, their initials were carved right into the side of the structure, as Bianca stated it her journal.
It was like a full in punch in the gut to Olivia. She didn’t deserve this. True, she was the one that forced their relationship, but it wasn’t supposed to be like this, she thought. She needed to do something real quick before she lost everything. She couldn’t lose Brian. She couldn’t let him love another. She needed to be done with Bianca, to rid her from their lives.
Olivia took a tissue from her pocket and dried her tears. She felt like she was losing her husband.
“Did he only care for Bianca because she was going to give him the gift of a child,” Olivia wondered?
Well, that was no longer going to happen, Olivia proclaimed!
Olivia decided earlier that day that she would herself give Brian what he wanted... a child! She would trick him into thinking that she was pregnant so she could get Bianca out of the picture. She needed that relationship to end quickly before.. he actually fell in love with her.
Then maybe... just maybe Olivia would consider having a baby for him... even though she didn't want to. She probably wouldn't, though. Maybe she would adopt without him knowing. She would find a private person and adopt from the directly. That might work! Either way, Bianca would be gone, and it would be just the two of them again in this relationship. The way it was supposed to be. She contemplated the idea.
Then Olivia had another plan in mind. Maybe she would surprise the two today at the hotel before he got home from work! This way, they were sure not to have s*x?
Quickly, Olivia canceled her appointments for the day. This trip was much more important than anything her patients needed to talk to with her. This was her whole life. They would live through missing a session.
Quickly, Olivia got packed, and headed for Boston!
Before Olivia left Maine, she sent one text to Bianca.
"Hi Bianca. I hope you are enjoying the city! Brian forgot his medicine, so I want to have someone deliver some to the front desk attendant at the hotel where he can pick it up. You know, men, he wouldn't go buy it himself! What room number should I put the attention to? -Olivia"
Bianca responded right away to her boss. .
“Hi Olivia. Boston is great. Thanks for checking in! Room 322! -Bianca"
........
Bianca made her way back to the hotel around 4 pm. She wanted to shower, get dressed in her sexiest new lingerie, and be ready for the man when he got back to the hotel after a long day in the office. He told her it would be around 5:30 pm.
She sprawled across the big bed and was hopeful. She was hopeful about the night. She was hopeful about the trip. She was also hopeful about her future. She looked out at the city in the floor to ceiling window. It was beautiful. She was fortunate to just be there.
After showering, Bianca came out from the bathroom wearing one of her new lingeries that she had purchased. This one was red with open n*****s and an open crotch. She sat on the chair, writing her journal notes in her phone and eagerly awaiting his arrival. She kept checking the clock every 5 minutes.
Until at 5:05 p.m., Bianca finally heard a knock at the door. She decided to pull out all the stops and open it wearing nothing but her lingerie, hoping that no one else was in the hall. It was a chance she was willing to take for Brian! She wanted the wow factor.
"Did someone forget their room key," Bianca opened the door seductively exposing herself fully?
But what was on the other side of the door was not at all who she had expected..not in a million years!
