Just as Violet arrived in front of the pack house, she could hear the thudding of feet behind her. She turned just in time to see Sasha barreling up to her, clearly not going to be able to stop in time. Violet simply took a step off to the side while Sasha expected to have her sister cushion her fall only to be met with the cold sweet kiss of the earth. With a groan, Sasha stood to face a smirking Violet before both of them erupted with laughter together, straightening themselves out as they began to walk around back to the large garden, where most ceremonial parties are held.
"Are you ready for tonight? To get your wolf?" Violet began as they walked, barely able to contain her excitement while Sasha remained cool and composed. "You've always been able to shift, what are you getting so giddy about?" Sasha raised a pierced brow with an amused expression while Violet shrugged. "Yeah but.. I've never felt like I've had a wolf.. maybe I'll finally get to meet her tonight?" Violet looked bothered briefly but changed the subject. "But also because of you! You're my sister, and this is a bigger moment for you... Miss Alpha Heir~" She said with a hint of teasing that earned her a gentle punch on the shoulder.
Before Sasha could respond at all, they had arrived and were immediately greeted by their father who swooped them up in each arm, squeezing in a hug. "There you two are! Late, as always. You had me worried for a minute. Any second longer and I would have had search parties dragging you back." He said with a chuckle before setting them back down and taking a step back so they could breathe after that double bear hug power. "We were just getting ready, relax." Sasha waved her hand to let him know it was no big deal before taking off towards the catering, getting a plate, and beginning to chat with a woman who was already there. Violet bowed her head in apology to Aksel. "Thank you for putting this party together for us, Dad. It means a lot to us both, even if one of us would rather chase skirts.." Violet had mumbled the last half under her breath, irked with her twin for running off so soon. She felt it was rude, but Sasha has always been this way. "Anything for my two little girls." This made Violet roll her eyes playfully but choose not to argue, knowing that they would always be his little girls no matter how old they got. They said their goodbyes for now so Violet could go and mingle with the rest of the pack. Looking around she could see that there were members from other packs who come to celebrate as well, being that this coming of age ceremony was for wolves with alpha blood, this was a bigger deal than an unranked pack member receiving theirs. She had never seen wolves from other packs before, but she was too nervous to approach anyone. She ended up as she usually did at social events, in the corner twirling her ice in her drink. This would normally go on until the end of the party, but a throat clearing in front of her startled her, looking up quickly in surprise.
