It was a new day by that time the news of Sasha's, although late, transformation had spread through the entire pack. While some were happy for her, others were more concerned about the fact the transformation was late. Many of the people were devoted heavily to the Moon Goddess but some much more than others, almost too much. They've always seen Violet as a curse to their pack, but now they were considering Sasha too, but being the offspring of their Alpha, there was nothing they could do about it without consequences, at least not unprepared. A secret society had begun to form shortly after the news of the twin's birth had spread throughout the town and at first, they were just talking, but then a plan formed and everyone knew about it by the time the girls had come of age, but nobody assumed that this 'Secret Society' would ever cause any trouble.
Violet had awoken to find that her sister was already awake and out of the house, leaving Violet to spend the day by herself. She decided to have a quick shower but it turned into a long shower as her thoughts kept returning to the look on her sisters face at the Shifting Ceremony. She figured Sasha would be mad at her but for how long? Violet pulled on her undergarments before choosing to wear her light blue long-sleeved shirt with a cartoon picture of a cat on the chest accompanied by some jet black jeans. After she had finished fully getting ready for a Saturday afternoon in the market plaza, she quickly set out for her destination almost in the center of the hustle and bustle, her favorite little pastry shop called Mrs. Lulu's Cafe. It was her favourite place to grab breakfast, in fact, she was there almost every single day! And the days she wasn't, she always showed up by noon. "Good morning, Mrs. Lulu!" Violet shouted as she made it through the doors of the cafe, an old woman came out of the back and smiled from behind the counter. "Violet, dear, how are you? I was beginning to think you wouldn't show." Mrs. Lulu's comment made Violet look at her pink watch for the first time that day. She had slept in until nearly 1:30 PM! "I-I guess the Coming of Age ceremony really wore me out.." Violet said with a shy laugh as she rubbed her arm, approaching the counter. Behind her, she heard the bell of the door as another customer entered but she didn't bother to turn her head and she carried on with her conversation with Mrs. Lulu. It must have been dragging on for a bit too long because a throat eventually cleared behind Violet and both women had stopped talking and bashfully completed their transaction of a blueberry muffin for $1.25. Violet turned around to see a broad chest in front of her, looked up to see a blonde man looking back down at her amused. "I didn't know you came here, too!" This strange man had Violet already itching to grab her pepper spray. "Uh.. do I know you??" "Lyle! You know, third period?? I sit right behind you.." At first, he had been excited but he was quickly losing confidence as Violet just stared blankly at him for a moment. There was now an awkward silence as Violet tried to remember until she suddenly seemed to get it, perking up with a smile. "Lyle! Yes, sorry, I'm just really bad with names." She laughed, suddenly more friendly as she stepped out of the way. "Are you walking or is someone already waiting for you?" His question almost put a damper on her mood, normally she would be hanging out with her sister, but they weren't even on talking terms right now it would seem... "Ah, no, I'm walking.." She said half-heartedly as he turned and bought himself a chocolate-filled croissant with a cup of mocha before turning his attention back to Violet. "Well, where are you headed? I can give you a ride. I got nothing going on, really." He rubbed the back of his neck with his free hand. "Actually, I have nothing going on either... I was just going to walk around the plazas." "Would you mind if I accompanied you?" He offered almost as excited as a puppy, making Violet giggle. "That would be wonderful."
