Murder in the forest village

Chapter four

When everyone had come, Sarah and Smash began following the footprints and without stepping on the foot prints they followed the two detectives. The foot prints were going straight until they came to a huge pile of trees, there was only one set of foot prints going around the huge pile of trees.

Detective Smash Berri examined the huge pile of trees and found mysterious scratch and burn marks where whatever had been chasing the owner of the other pair of foot prints,

Smash Berri then said “Victor this is not the work of a Vampire but something that controls fire”.

Victor replied “Ok then Smasher you take a group and follow those markings and Sarah can follow the....”

Foxy interrupted by complaining “That is not fair what am I supposed to use my nose for besides sniffing out forensic evidence”!

Victor replied “Foxy act your age you were the one who applied for the forensic team”.

So Detective Smash Berri formed a small group of those who could fly and their names are Police Officer Random Treeda, Coroner Waver Blue and Coroner Tony Benden. Random Treeda shrank to the size of a fairy and so did Waver Blue, then Tony Benden shape shifted into a small dragon the same size as a fairy so he would not break anything.

Then Detective Smash Berri as the leader of the flight team, he led them by following the markings on the huge pile of trees on which he discovered were the markings of foot prints of someone running. So he followed the foot print markings until they stopped abruptly at the end of the huge pile of trees where he saw a body that had been torn in half and burnt, Just as he was landing his team on the ground, Detective Sarah Bluebird came around the corner of the huge pile of trees with her team.

Detective Sarah Bluebird was followed by Foxy Zone, Angela Murray, Blue Penguin, Victor Bennett, Daisy and Zoey Redlark. She was following the foot prints which lead to the end of the huge pile of trees, where she then saw a body that had been torn in half with a massive pool of blood around the torn in half burnt body.

Detective Smash Berri’s team landed beside the body just as she had turned around the corner.

Victor looked at the body with a look of disgust he ordered “Waver Blue, Tony Benden please try to find out what did that to the poor person’’.

He then turned around and ordered “Blue Penguin and Random Treeda Please escort Daisy back to her heard immediately”.

Blue Penguin then looked at Victor Bennett and complained “But I can not even understand a word she says because all I hear when she speaks to you is the sound that deer’s always make and I can only communicate with animals that live in the water”!

Random Treeda then turned to look at Blue Penguin and said “Blue that ability may come in handy so don’t worry I can communicate with Daisy”.

She said that to try to be persuasive and it worked, then Random Treeda said “Daisy come on lets go find your heard”.

Daisy blinked then nodded and followed both Police Officers to the deeper part of the forest.
