In a serene, self-filled room with an eclectic mix of people, Mrs. Santiago stood at the center of attention, her eyes fixed on her husband, Santiago. Every person present seemed frozen in their places, their expressions ranging from curiosity to sheer amazement. Santiago's demeanor was unusual, to say the least. He exuded an aura of intimidation that Mrs. Santiago had never witnessed before, at least not in public, and certainly not with their daughter present.
