SABRINA
To satisfy my growing interest, I raise my head and look in the direction she is pointing. The first thing that catches my attention is a gleaming brass plate that is built into the wall not far from the headboard. My attention is immediately drawn to it, and as a result, I can't help but question what function it actually performs.
As I examine the plate more closely, I discover that its surface is adorned with two prominent buttons: one button is streamlined and black, and the other button is spotless and white. The plate, which was otherwise unremarkable, was given an interesting twist by the addition of the buttons in different colours. My thoughts begin to meander as I ponder the importance of these buttons and the mysteries that they could possibly conceal.
