Chapter 6

One day Susan was not at school and Annabelle was worried that she moved without telling her. It was Annabelle’s birthday and when she got home her friend was waiting for her and was crying. Annabelle asked what is wrong and Susan said we are moving because her parents do not like it here, so Annabelle invited Susan in and then everyone yelled surprise. Annabelle was happy but sad that her friend was moving than Annabelle knew she was lying to get her to come inside. There were a lot of gifts and people Annabelle was happy this was her first birthday that she got to celebrate. Susan was happy that she was staying with me for the weekend while her parents are away on a date in Jamaica. It was Friday night, and we were all sleeping than all of a sudden there was a loud knock on the door Annabelle looked at the clock it was ten o’clock everyone got up and went to the door and looked out the window and there on the porch was the neighbor with her kids. Then Annabelle opened the door and asked what she wanted, and she asked if she could stay the night their house was flooded. Annabelle looked at her mom and her mom said yes and that they could share the room with eight of the kids and she would take Ms. peach and the other seven kids. When Annabelle and Susan got to the bedroom, they set up eight more beds on the floor and Annabelle and Susan got the bed. Susan woke up first the room was a mess there were no kids in it, so she woke up Annabelle and told her to look at her room. When the kids ran back into the room Annabelle and Susan shut and locked the door behind them and said to sit down. Annabelle had them sit there for five minutes and then said to look around and tell Susan what you see they said a dirty messy room then Annabelle and Susan both hollered pick up this mess or you will be stuck in here forever.
