Chapter 4

The first day of school was on a Wednesday and Annabelle and Susan did not like their teacher but they were in the same class. Susan could not go over to Annabelle’s because she had to do homework, so Susan got off the bus before Annabelle on a dirt road with trash on the side and all down the road. Annabelle got off the bus at the next stop because she had to talk to Susan, which meant that Annabella was not the spouse to get off the bus where she did. When the bus left, Annabelle ran up the road to catch up to Susan to ask about all the trash and Susan just said people do not care about what they do to the earth or the environment. When Annabelle and Susan got to Susan’s house, Annabelle looked around all the yards, porches, driveways that had trash in or on them but not Susan's. It was big and clean. Susan said nothing and Annabelle walked up the driveway and that’s when Annabelle knew that Susan was rich because she had the biggest house ever and a high-tech car in the garage. Annabella stopped and said bye. See you later. Susan just said OKAY" and went in. Susan’s mom asked what was wrong and Susan said that Annabelle found out they were rich. Susan’s mom was mad and said they had to move. Then Susan said they could move in three weeks because Annabelle would think something was up if we left right when she found out we were rich. The next day at school, the girls stayed away from each other. Their teacher asked why they were not doing anything together and Annabelle said that Susan was rich, and she was not, and Susan did not tell her that she was rich.
