Chapter 2

On the fourth day of school Annabelle was crying when she got home when her mom asked what happened and Annabelle said there was a fight on the bus and that she got cut because she was sitting near the people who were fitting. So, her mom said she could have a bowl of ice cream and maybe she would feel better. When Annabelle finished her ice cream five minutes later, she asked if she could have some soda. Of course, her mom said yes and that she could have as much as she wanted. When Annabelle finished the soda, it was three o’clock and time to go to church. She had no dresses to wear so she had to use one from her sister. It was 10:05 when they got home and by the time everyone was in bed it was 1: 20. It was 5:00 in the morning when Annabelle woke up because someone was knocking on the front door and when Annabelle got closer, she saw it was her friend, so she opened the door and asked what she was doing here. Annabelle’s friend Susan moved over and there beside her was a baby and it look like it was in a fight but Susan said the baby was being mistreated so she took the baby and tried to take care of it but she could not do it alone, so Annabelle helped her until the baby was better. Then we wrote a note and put it in the basket and gave it to the parents of the baby and hide and watched as they read the note that said treat this baby right or we will take it and you will never see it again and every day at 3:00 we would check on the baby.
