ALLEGRA'S POV;
As much as I didn't want to see what a gory scene it was, curiosity overcame me. I stared around, not seeing a trace of the lady but instead a large trail of blood that followed behind the chair which led to the entrance. The lady was obviously trying to escape, making me almost choke in pity for her. There was no way she was going to escape from Vincenzo, not even in his nightmares.
