‎The Final Move

Months later, Adrian's organization had been dismantled.

News of his arrest had spread throughout the city, and the powerful network he had spent years building was finally falling apart. One by one, the people who had worked for him were questioned, and many of them confessed what they knew.

Marco confessed everything.

He admitted that Adrian had manipulated him by promising him control of the Moretti empire. He also revealed how he had secretly passed information about Alessandro to Adrian.

It wasn't easy for Lia to forgive him.

He was family, and his betrayal had played a part in destroying the trust her father had spent years trying to protect.

But Lia eventually understood that revenge would only keep her trapped in the same cycle that had destroyed both families.

Elena also testified against Adrian. Her testimony helped investigators understand how the Vale Circle had operated and how Adrian had manipulated the Morettis and Romanos for years.

For the first time, the truth was finally out.

The Moretti and Romano families began rebuilding their lives.

But Lia made one decision that surprised everyone.

She refused to continue her father's criminal legacy.

She sold several of the family's questionable businesses and kept only the legitimate ones. She wanted the Moretti name to mean something different.

Not fear.

Not power.

Not secrets.

Something better.

Matteo made a similar decision with the Romano family.

One evening, they stood together outside the Moretti estate.

"You changed everything," Matteo said.

Lia shook her head.

"No. My father started it."

"You finished it."

She looked at the mansion.

"For years, this house was filled with secrets."

"And now?"

"Now it feels empty."

Matteo smiled.

"Maybe empty isn't always bad."

Lia looked at him.

"What does that mean?"

"It means you get to decide what fills it."

For the first time in years, Lia looked at the house without feeling afraid of what might be hiding inside.

She smiled.

"Then I think it's time we built something new."

Matteo nodded.

And together, they walked toward the mansion, leaving the shadows of the past behind them.
