Mireya's POV
“I would go back to our house to pack clothes for more days then” Drake told me as we prepared to go down to the Iron Might pack.
The forest connecting our packs together had silver bane growing there. We had to prepare carefully to avoid incidents.
Silver bane is deadly to all wolves. “Yeah, you should” I replied, my eyes taking in the soldiers armor.
“Make sure you all tighten the chest plate very well” I ordered. “I thought you were heading to your house right now” I questioned when I noticed Drake was still standing behind me.
“I can't leave you unguarded” His green eyes met mine in defiance.
“I would be fine, whereas we aren't leaving yet” I reassured him, urging him to go.
