It goes to show how much my parents discouraged me from knowing about bonds in general. Although Haven was never told what it was called, she knew the mate bond; if strong enough, you could hear each other’s thoughts and feelings through it. I was told royal bonds were always stronger, and it didn’t matter if they were chosen or fated. That was about it.
I didn’t think the loyalty bond was the same because Haven’s and my mate's bond connected us instantly, and she didn’t have her wolf. I did feel the bond click into place when everyone did the loyalty oath, the same way Haven did, but like I said, I didn’t think it was the same as our mate bond.
