Bobby’s POV
The wilderness component of the next assessment turned out to be what we thought. We were broken into 18 groups of 6, with the cadets ranked 1 to 18 as the team leaders. Myself, Shaun, Trent and Bobby oversaw our separate groups and although Shaun and I didn’t have anyone we associated with, Trent had Loretta in his group, while Bryson had Rebecca and Kaylee.
Since my team was one of the first three to do the assessment, I tried to get through it as quickly as possible. It was survival skills 101. Start a fire without matches, pretend to hunt for food and retrieve water without the assistance of our wolf and construct a dwelling with only the items you can find. As team leader, I made sure everyone contributed to the final outcome with their opinions and feedback.
