I stared at the woman who was with teary eyes. More than anyone else in the gathering, I felt sympathy for her and that was only because of the newborn in her arms.
I let out a deep breath and clenched my fist tightly "I will go to him," I muttered through gritted teeth.
My heart was bitter and I felt incredibly sad but the decision had been made and I had to go through with it.
"You will?" Alpha Gravis' words brought me out of my thoughts and I frowned slightly.
"I will," I replied without looking at him and turned around to walk away.
