Eps 5- Inara Sophea

“Razif? You have to hide. I found Inara on my workplace.” Said Yana.

“You what? Where is she?” Razif ask eager. In his mind he need to get back with Inara. Hide? No way! I will find a way to keep Inara shut her mouth. He thought.

“She’s with my big boss. But she seems like she didnt knew me.” Yana replied. Razif felt relieved. After Inara ran away and went missing her brother Izzat just keep bothering him with his man. He need Inara. He needs Inara money and status. Inara was a daughter of businessman. Her father run business of medical supply to hospitals. Her family has plenty of contacts which can help Razif. Razif was a staff nurse before he got caught on scandal. He was fired due to the scandal. And a few months after that he met with Inara. Daughter of Dato’ Ilyas. He loves Inara because of Inara’s status.He then asked money from Inara to start a printing tshirt shop as a capital. And she agreed. But it a hard path for him because her family really protects her. He admit Inara was just a jump stone for him.

“I’ll be there.” He said and end the call.

“Mr. Lim and Madame Tan. We are sorry. That girl managed to run.” Said the head of security.

“What do you mean?” Asked Madame Tan disbelieve.

“She say she need to pee but when my guard untie her hand she hit him with a steel. My guard unconcious and she ran away.” He replied. Lucas sigh.

“I just asked you to watch over her. Just a girl and you cant even do the job proper. Patricia get me detail of her.” Said Lucas.

“On it boss.” Patricia immediately make her way to the HR department.

“Mr Lim. The police just arrive.” Said the head of security. Lucas look on the CCTV from the lobby and he immediately took the phone on the table and call the receptionist.

“Bring them to my office.” Lucas said through the phone. Then Lucas and Madame Leona go back to his office. They arrive just a minute before the police.

“How are you miss?” Ask Inspector Farhan to Dream. He is the one who handling Dream’s case.

“I’m okay. I’ve got a good hand taken care of me.” Dream said while grab Madame Leona hand. Even Dream just stay with them for four days but Madame Leona treat Dream just like her own daughter. Madame Leona hug her.

“Did you recall this girl?” Inspector Farhan hand her a photo of a woman.

“This is me. Isnt?” Reply Dream.

“Yes miss. We managed to locate your family miss. I believe it is your father who came to the police station of Kuala Terengganu and report a missing person.” He reply with smile. In his head he was thinking how to tell her father that his daughter has been r***d. He needs to find the doer. Dream is also smiling.

“Lucas?” Dream call.

“Yes?” He replied.

“How long was it gonna take to get here from Kuala Terengganu?” She ask softly. Lucas took out his phone from his pocket.

“It says distance from Kuala Terengganu and Damansara is 8-9 hours of driving.” Lucas said. Dream looks like doing math on her mind.

“We should go back home.” Madam Leona said.

“Dream need a lot of rest. I believe you have things to talk with the police?” Madam Leoan said more to instruct Lucas rather than ask. Lucas nod. She then support Dream to get up. She hold Dream’s waist and Dream hold Madame Leona arm to get up. Lucas come to help. He then carry Dream by his own like a groom carry his bride.

“Put me down Lucas. I can walk by my own.” Said Dream. Her face is turning red. She was shy.

“Shhh.” Lucas replied.

“Do you mind if I talk with you at our house?” Asked Lucas while looking at the officers. They nod.

“We will escort you.” Say them. And Lucas carry Dream until they arrive at Madame Leona’s car. The driver open the door for Lucas. Lucas put Dream inside the car. And he shut the door. Dream look outside of the car. She has a feeling that someone is eyeeing on her but there is no one.

It’s already 10:30pm and Dream’s family hasnt arrive yet. Dream has asleep after Lucas force her to ate her dinner and medicine. He understand Dream is excited to meet her family but she is not in a good state yet. Plus with the incident that happen in his office. He will take zero chance by letting Dream getting tired. The officers is still waiting with him on his house for Dream’s family. Lucas told the officer about the incident. The police believe the girl named Yana is involved in Dream’s case. A black Vellfire arrive at front of his mansion. The security ask the driver and let the car park inside. They has arrived! Dream’s family has arrived! Said Lucas in his head.

“Mr Ilyas?” Ask the officer to a late 50s man as soon as he get out from the vehicle.

“Yes. Where is my daughter?” He said holding his watery eyes.

“She is asleep after she take her medicine.” Said the officer.

“This is Lucas Lim. Mr Lucas is who the one found her on the street.” Said the officer again. Lucas gave his hand to shake but instead the old man rush to hug Lucas. Lucas was shocked.

“There is no word I can say to thank you to you.” Mr Ilyas was in tears.

“Where’s Inara?” Asked Izzat as soon as he got out of the driver position.

“Our baby girl was in a good hand Izzat!” Said Mr Ilyas still didnt let go of Lucas. Izzat was kneel and crying. How thankfull he is when his sister was found safe. He cover his face while crying. After the drama was settle down Lucas invite them to sit on the gazebo before they take a look on Dream. Inspector Farhan told them to be patience and take a deep breath before he explain the situation.

“Miss Inara was found on the street by Lucas Lim. She was unconcious and in a bad situation. The doctor confirm she has been r***d. The bruises on her whole body and a bad vaginal checked proven it. She gain several amnesia from the incident. She also warded for a week. And Mr Lim took her in. His family and him has been looking over miss Inara for almost two weeks.” Said the officer without stutter. Mr Ilyas and Izzat look shock.

“Who did it?” Izzat voice was like a thunder hearing state of his sister. He can imagine how Inara fought the r***r. He was so devastated. What type of brother am I? I cant even protect my own sister! He said in his heart. His heart was broken to pieces when his father is kept saying poor my baby girl. Oh god what kind of test are You giving to us?

“We are still on our investigation. However we believe we just gained a new clue after miss Inara was getting attack by a woman work on Mr Lim office. Her name was Azlyana binti Ahmad Azlan. Do you know her?” Asked the officer. They both shake their head no.

“Uncle! I’m here!” Shout someone from outside the gate. The security is holding the man from coming inside.

“Who is him?” Asked the police.

“He is Inara’s fiance, Razif. Did you told him Izzat?!” Ask Mr Ilyas.

“Hell no. I didnt even told Mardiah that Inara was found.” He replied.

“So you both didnt told him on miss Inara whereabout?” Ask the officer. They both shake their head no.

“I sense something wrong on him inspector.” Said Lucas. He just got a feeling something is not right with Dream’s fiance.

“I agree. Sergeant be alert!” He said to his officer.

“Should I let him in?” Asked Lucas.

“Is it okay with you sir?” Asked Inspector Farhan to Dream’s family.

“I dont want to see him.” Mr Ilyas said.

“Me either.” Izzat said while squinted his eyes to Dream’s fiance.

“Gentlemen, lets not let our feeling get stuck on miss Inara case investigation. We need more clues.” He said.

“Let him in.” He said again after both of them nod heavily. Lucas look at the guard and nod his head. The guard open the gate for the man. He then rush to the gazebo.

“Where is Inara?” He said looking worried. Ah such a faker. Said Lucas in his mind.

“Who are you?” Asked the officer.

“I’m Inara’s fiance. You can ask her father if you dont believe me. Now where is my fiance?” He said with ignorance. Lucas look the man from up to toe but his eyes is captured by the tshirt wore by the man. Red tshirt with an angry bull printed on his right sleeve along with the word ‘Cetak Haus’. The same character printed on Dream’s shirt she wore when he found her.

“I’m sorry. What is this logo meant? Its an eye catchy.” Asked Lucas curious pretending to show interest.

“This is my printing shop logo.” He said. Again with ignorance smile. He is the doer! Said Lucas in his head.

“Wow I should book some for my upcoming family day. What a rude host am I. I should get you something to drink.” Ask Lucas while pulling the inspector’s hand to go inside the house.

“I want to meet with Inara!” He said in firm tone.

“She is asleep. Let her get some rest.” Izzat said. And the guy keep his head down staying quiet.

“I saw the same logo on Dream’s tshirt the day I found her on that guy.” Said Lucas in a lower voice.

“Are you sure?” Inspector ask.

“I am! Come. I’ll show you the tshirt.” Luckily he kept Dream’s belonging in box given by the hospital. They step up to Lucas’s room. Lucas bring out a small box from under his bed and open it. He gave the tshirt to the officer. It was a white tshirt with the same logo on left chest. It was a bit smaller than the guy wear on his right sleeve.

“You are right Mr Lim. He is the suspect until we found another strong evidence to bring him down. For now we need to stay calm. We didnt want him to run away. He might sense suspicious. Act normal.” Said the inspector while take a picture on the tshirt. Lucas nod agree.
