Eps 4- It’s her

“Hi. Can I see Mr Lim?” I asked at the receptionist once I step in the building. In my hand there is two lunch box set put together in a paper bag. The receptionist look at me and put a smile on her face.

“Do you have an appointment?” Asked her friendly.

“I dont.” I reply. Thats odd.

“I’m sorry. I cannot let you see him. You need to set an appointment first miss.” She said.

“Oh? But aunty Leona said I can.” I said while thinking.

“Madam Leona said so? Hold on miss. Let me reach to his office. Whats your name miss?” She pick up the phone and dialing.

“Dream.” I said. I can see she hold her laugh. Yeah I know. Dream. What kind of a name is it on a woman age like me. Argh! Damn Lucas.

“Right this way miss.” She said when she hung up on the phone. Leading me to his office. We got up on the lift. When we reached level 34 she got out and I walk right behind her. She knock on a glass door and a young girl was sitting on the corner. She push a button on her table and she got up to attain me.

“Thank you.” I said to the receptionist when she walk away leaving me and the young girl. She smiled.

“Hi welcome to Just Concept miss Dream. I’m Patricia. Mr. Lim secretary. Please wait here. Mr. Lim is still on the meeting.” She said while she greet me. She led me a chair provided on opposite of her table.

“Have a seat. Can I help you with anything?” She asked. I bring out a set of lunch box and gave to her. She shocked.

“Aunty said to give to you. Because she knew you wont leave your table if Lucas wasnt going out during lunch hour.” I said while smiling.

“Oh thank you.” She take the lunch box from my hand.

“Hey what are you doing here?” Said Lucas when he walks out from a room.

“I bring lunch.” I said while get up from my seat.

“You’re lucking I canceled my lunch meeting today.” He said while chuckle.

“I know because aunty told me.” We both laugh.

“Come on inside.” He said while opening his office door for me. I can see on the door there is a plate name hanging. Lucas Lim. Chief of executive officer. Not just he is a handsome and gentlemen. He is also a CEO. I’m wondering how much woman would die just to be with him. I smile at my thoughts. He take off his tie and put in on his table. He then unbutton his shirt on above and fold his long sleeve shirt to his elbow. I put the paper bag which contain the last lunch box for him. I start to unpacked everything out and arrange on the coffee table on his office. His eyes are widden. He then take place besides me. His door was knocked and I saw Patricia is holding two mineral bottles. She put it on the coffee table besides with Lucas’s lunch.

“Can I have my lunch on the pantry Mr. Lim?” She asked to Lucas.

“Yeah sure. Thanks Pat.” Lucas replied without looking at her. His eyes are glued to the lunch.

“Thank you Mr. Lim. Thanks miss Dream.” I laugh. How can a young girl being so adorable.

“Only one? Where’s yours?” He asked when Patricia is out of sight.

“I already ate. I bring yours only.”

“How do you get here?” Asked him again.

“Oh Lucy gave me a ride while on her way to her class.”

“Thank you for the lunch btw. Honestly I think I maybe starving or having a pack of biscuit as my lunch today.” He said. I laugh.

“You’re being over dramatic. I need to hear out your comment. Take big bite of these.” I said excitedly while pointing at the steam dumpling.

“Why you need to hear my comment? Wait! Dont tell me youre the one who made this lunch?!” He asked disbelieve.

“Ouch! What? You think I cant cook? Well technically your mom teach me and the maids are helping. But yeah I cook.” I said pretending being hurt with his sarcastic attitude.

“You got to be joking! Well the dumpling is really delicious. I can say you own a restaurant!” He said. I punch his arm.

“You are such a joker.” I said. We both laugh.

“Anyway this lunch treat here was my thank you token for you taken care of me last night.” I said.

“I would do it for free tho.” He said with laugh.

“You really need to be a joker.” I said. We laugh together.

“Come in.” He said after his office were knocked. A chinese guy enter his room with unpleasant aura. Our laugh being cut automatically.

“What do you want?” Lucas said while eating with his chopstick.

“You cant just break our deal. My family and I have supply things to your company for years.” That guy said. Lucas got up from his seat and walk towards to his table. He pick up an envelope on his table and gave it to the man standing in front of us. Lucas sit back right besides me. He continue to eat. The man is reading the letter from the envelope.

“I sent your materials to our lab and run a test. It turns out you cheating about your material. Well I know this is not the first time you and your family cheating about the grade of the material. But enough is enough. You bring so much damage to my company. As you can see I attach a termination letter along with the lab test result. If you dare to do anything we will see you on court.”

“Wait Lucas honey. I dont understand why it need to be like this. You kno...”

“Enough is enough Kevin! For many years I always back you up when my dad wants to terminate your contracts. Do you have any idea how much I lost just to cover up all your mess?” Lucas cut him. The guy stay silent.

“You know how to get out.” Lucas said calmly.

“So thats it? You terminate contract with me. You ditching me for this b***h. So thats how you wanna end with me?” Kevin started to show his rage.

“Get a life!” Lucas yell.

“You wont got away with this just this simple. You are going to pay for this. Have fun fcking my trash b***h!” He screamed to me and Lucas. b***h? My head are spinning. I massage my head lightly.

“I dare you Kevin Chong.” Lucas said while Kevin walks out. Lucas get up and dialing someone on his intercom.

“Dont ever let Kevin Chong enter this building. Inform the securities also.” Lucas said when someone pick up the call. He then seat again besides me. He slicked his hair backward while leaning on the sofa.

“I’m sorry Dream you have to watch the fcking drama.” Lucas said. I stay quiet while massage my head. He turn his head and saw me looking pale.

“Hey what’s wrong Dream? Are you okay?” He asked worried.

“Yeah I just had a light dizzy.”

“Lie down here.” He said while pushing both my shoulder to the sofa.

“I’m fine Lucas.” I said trying to get his hand off me.

“Youre not! Lie down. Dont get up. Maybe you will better.” He said.

“Finish your lunch please.” I asked while smiling.

“I will.” He said while kiss my forehead and change his seat to other sofa. Giving me space to lie down.

“Hey beauty youre awake.” I heard Lucas voice. I get up from the sofa.

“How long was I slept here?” I asked.

“About 3 hours.”

“What?! How come? Why didnt you wake me up?!” I said rushly take my bag and wearing the heels back. Lucas look at me weird.

“Whats wrong with that?” Lucas ask.

“Lucy must be angry with me. I promise I wait for her at 2 pm downstairs.” I said. Damn where is the right one? My eyes are looking for the other pair of my heels.

“But I call Lucy already. I said she doesnt have to pick you up.” He said. I shocked.

“How am I suppose to go home then?” I asked him back.

“Youre going home with me?” He said hesitately. I took my phone out and I saw a missed call from Lucy.

“It’s only 4pm right now.” I said with a little bit high pitch.

“So whats the big deal?” He asked.

“Thats mean I have to wait for you like an hour or two hours more.” I said. Ah i cant believe this guy!

“I need to finish this one last document. You can go wait for me in the car if you want.” He said while give out his car key. I shake my head no.

“Is there a cafe here? I feel like I want to eat something sour.” I ask.

“Yeah there is one big cafe downstairs. Did you bring any money with you?” Ask him while grabbing his wallet on his back pocket.

“Yeah your mom did gave some money to me.” I said while waving few notes of 50 ringgit.

“Yikes. My mom did spoil you.” He asked in jealous.

“Well because you mom loves me!” I said while my tongue sticking out.

“You!” He said while get up from his chair. I ran as fast as can from his office room. He laugh. Then his phone is ringing.

“Wait for me at the cafe.” He yelled when I closed his office door before he answer his phone. I nod.

“Feeling better miss Dream?” Patricia laugh just look at me and Lucas jokes around. I smile and nod again.

“See you again Patricia.” I said while waving my hand on her. She wave back. I got on lift and push G button. I put my visitor card on the rail door. It open. I look for cafe signboard but it was no where to be found. I make my way to receptionist.

“Hi. Can you tell me which where is the cafe?” I asked to the same receptionist. She smile at me.

“Sure misa Dream. Its on this way. Turn left on the first hallway.” She said whil pointing the right side of the building.

“Thanks!” I nod and smile. My gosh! I just cant stop smiling here. I laugh on my own jokes. As I made my way to the cafe I can feel like someone is watching me. I turn my head but there is no one. I turn left on the hallway as the receptionist told me. Then all of sudden my hair is being pull by someone.

“You b***h! What the hell are you doing here?!” The girl slap me when we both at the emergency exit stairs. I was totally shocked.

“Do I know you?” I ask. My eyes are teary. When I look at the girl I felt spark on my brain.

“Whats wrong? Lost your memories? You should just die!” She said while she slap me again. I was defenseless. I tried to run but she still pulling my hair. It hurts so bad. I started to cry. I struggle to let her hands off my hair. When I finally did it I ran through the door on stairs and my head hurts. It kept flashing memories on my mind. It was her!

“Hey are you okay?” Lucas ask as soon as I open my eyes.

“My head hurts.” I said. I try to get up.

“Whoa hold on. Just lie down. My mom is on her way. Look I know it is a lot to process. But I think the police found your family.” Lucas said smiling. My eyes gotten wider. I just cant believe it.

“How?” I ask.

“The officer that has been handling your case call me. He said someone made a lodge of missing person. They already inform your family on your whereabout. So they are on their way.” Lucas said excitedly. I smile to tears.

“How do I end up in here?” Ask me weird. I was on Lucas office.

“Err about that you dont have to worry. The person did this to you had receive her punishment.” Lucas said while petting my hair. I feel so safe when he did it.

“Do you to eat anything?” He asked. I shake my head no.

“Dream?! Are you okay?” I saw aunty Leona rush to me as soon as she arrive in Lucas office. I nod softly.

“Where is that woman?” She yelled.

“Amma. Calm down. Dream just awake.” Lucas said try to calm his mom.

“What woman?” I asked.
