I NORMALLY DON'T MIND photos, but posing for my first official photo with Kade is making me so nervous I just don't want to do it. Thankfully, he takes several photos at different angles for us to pick from.
I don't even hear anyone else come out on the porch.
"What are you doing?" Brynn asks.
"Taking our first official photo to post," Kade says as he flips through them.
"Yeah, I wouldn't post that if I were you," Brynn says, catching both our attention.
"Why not?" Kade asks.
Brynn looks at me. "Come on, Lin, you grew up in this town and know this gossip mill better than anyone. What is the quickest way to get the people here to leak something about you and Kade?" Brynn asks.
Then it hits me like tons of bricks, and I bury my face in my hands. "
