2019, March 30th & 31st Caines, Terres Somnia (Zoey) I woke up to the sound of the shower running. I picked up his shirt off of the floor and pulled it over my shoulders. Most of the wedding night was still a blank to me, but one tiny piece of memory stuck with me and I wanted to see if it was still there. That night, I had woken up midway through James struggling to get my wedding dress off, felt the zipper go down and watched him as he hung it up. I wished I remembered the way he did, or at least remembered a better memory, like the actual wedding. This one memory hurt too much to have. He looked so utterly distraught throughout. I opened the closet door and there it was, not quite as beautiful as the new modified version he had had made for the duchess' welcome, but still as radia
