"Zoey, I really need you to stay calm right now. Can you do that for me?"
She nodded frantically, then promptly screamed a moment later as cars could be heard colliding in the background. Two of the SUVs following us had collided, with three of the Jeeps from earlier surrounding them. There was gunfire as the men from the respective cars shot at each other. This left only one Jeep and one enemy car, both rapidly charging at us as they shot at and rammed into each other from the side. In the end, the black SUV won out, leaving the last Jeep behind in its rear-view mirror.
"Zoey, I need you to check the glove compartment for me and hand me the gun."
Zoey did as she was told and got the gun. She looked between my bleeding arm and the gun. I saw her debating as I floored the gas.
