"Hello Caines." CC's voice came booming through the speakers.
The crowd went wild, while Emily and I stood together, frozen.
"CC, CC, CC," the crowd chanted.
"It's so awesome to be back here with you all. Now it's not actually until tomorrow, but thanks so much for coming out for my 18th birthday party." CC beamed.
Not far behind CC stood a captivated Bart.
"Happy birthday, CC," a few people yelled out into the crowd.
"Thank you. Thank you all so much. And of course, a special thanks to Prince Aaron, my big brother, for making this happen."
The crowd cheered and applauded as a spotlight landed on me.
"Ask Mario to take you home once you're a bit more sober," I whispered to Emily before stepping out into the spotlight and waving up at CC.
