He allowed Reena as much time with Kendall as possible, picking her up only after he'd finished with Nelson and Tamara when they'd returned from North Myrtle Beach. Once they were back on the highway, Reena asked how things had gone with Jessica. Jonah muttered the only word that encompassed the whole thing.
