"Take a seat," I pulled back a chair for her to sit but she was looking warily. She didn't take a seat and was just staring at me instead.
"Sit down Katherina," I pointed at the chair. I held her shoulder and helped her sit.
"Why can't we just eat with the others? She asked
"I just wanted your first day here to be special."
"It still could have been special even with the others."
"No Rina, you are my wife and whatever I do has to be for your happiness."
"My happiness? She repeated my words with disbelief in her eyes.
"Yes Rina, believe me."
She nodded and picked up a spoon.
"Thank you," she muttered and she took the cutlery but she didn't eat at all. She just kept staring at the food.
"At least have some food," I served some food in her bowl.
