"Where did the file go? I exclaimed in surprise asking no one in particular.
"Don't you think I should be asking that, Miss Hayes? The boss's cold voice came sending chills all over me.
"Sir, but I gave you the complete files," I stated in my defense.
"Really? Did you, now? The boss hissed and swiveled his chair.
I stared from the boss to the file in amazement. I couldn't understand how the files could have disappeared.
Mr. White sounded very angry and I know his anger was justified.
However, what I find amazing was the fact that I sent him the complete file and I printed out the original copies and gave it to Fred, his Assistant to submit to him because I knew he would need the files in the meeting that would be held the following morning.
