I couldn't do anything the entire day at the office. I felt like I was hit by a rock. I kept staring at the files on my table like I was hoping it would all end up wrong.
I waited patiently for Finn's call so I could find out the rest of the story. I wanted to understand the situation that sent Katherina to get married without being with the one she married.
I picked up my phone with speed and I answered it on the first ring.
"What Did you find out"
There was complete silence on the other side. "Finn?" I had to call him to find out if he was still on the line.
"Boss, the matter is complicated."
"No matter how complicated it is, you know I'm capable of handling that."
"Boss, it's...."
"I'll give you one more second to speak or I'll make sure you don't speak again.."
