"Did he just ask for my Account details?
"I haven't even done anything and he wants to pay me?
I raised my head to look at him and our gazes met. He furrowed his brow as he looked at me quizzically. "Your account details Miss Hayes."
"Oh, Yes I....uh...
I immediately gave him my details and within a twinkle of an an eye. I got a message notification. I checked my phone and I saw that my account has been credited with....
"Wait!.... What? My eyes widened at what I saw. I looked at Mr. Tony in shock and he smiled.
"Did you receive the Credit Alert?
"You...You...Paid me Three Million?
"Yes Miss Hayes, you earned it."
"I earned it? How? I asked and he just shrugged.
Now I will give my soul to this man forever.
"Tell me when to begin." I stated and I was about to take off my clothes but his hand stopped me.
"What are you doing Miss Hayes?
"I'm getting ready to do the job for which I was paid.
"What the hell!
I heard Mr. Tony curse. "I didn't pay you to sleep with you Katherina. I have a lot of girls for that task.
"Huh?
Now I am completely surprised. If he didn't pay me to have s*x with him, Then what does he want me to do?
"You didn't bring me here for s*x? I asked again and he shook his head.
"Why in the world would you think that?
"You said you needed a woman so I thought...."
"Oh." He nodded and brought the booklet forward. This is the job I have for you."
I looked from Mr. Tony to the booklet and I ask again in surprise. "This?
"Yes, take it and have a look Miss Hayes."
I took the booklet and I opened it. I went through the content and my jaw dropped.
"What... What is this?
"A marriage agreement Miss Hayes and that is the business I have for you."
"I will be getting married? To who? I asked and Mr. Tony waved his hand in dismissal.
"You are not allowed to ask questions. Just sign it and after six months I will send you a divorce and you will be free again.
"Six Months of marriage?
"Yes, but be rest assured that you won't meet or see each other. So there is really nothing to worry about.
"I won't see him? I asked again for confirmation.
"Yes, you won't see him and Likewise. You just have to be his wife for namesake.
"Wow, this is a Miracle! I thought as I listened to Mr. Tony's words.
I will get Three Million and I don't have to do anything? I just have to bear a name. I looked up and thanked the heavens. This man was indeed sent to me from above.
"So, what will it be Miss Hayes, do you agree? Mr. Tony's voice came pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Do I agree? What the f**k! Why won't I agree?
I opened the booklet and I took Mr. Tony's pen. I immediately signed on the booklet and I could see that there was already a signature on the booklet.
The other Man also signed on the booklet and then he brought out a stamp and placed it on the booklet. He seemed to be the registrar.
He passed the booklet to Mr. Tony and he stood up. "It's done." He said before walking out. He looked at me and bowed.
"Congratulations Mrs. White."
"Mrs. White I repeated.
So the Man's name is White? I thought inwardly as I look at Mr. Tony. He took the booklet and he placed it in his suit pocket.
"That will be all Miss Hayes."
"Huh?
I was stunned and I still found it unbelievable to know that I could go. I got Three Million Dollars doing absolutely nothing.
"Wow! Did I just hit a jackpot?
I looked at Mr. Tony once more as if to confirm again if I could leave and he pointed at the foods on the table.
"Let's eat Miss Hayes, then you can leave."
"Wow, he really did say leave."
I picked the cutlery and I started eating, my eyes stealing secret glances at the handsome god sitting before me. I know that Angels are sent to us in our time of needs and this Mr. Tony was sent as an angel to me from heaven above.
After the meal Mr. Tony stood up and smiled. "Miss Hayes, can I have your phone number.
"Sure." I took his phone and punched in my number and he immediately gave me a beep.
"That's my number Miss. Hayes, feel free to call me anytime."
"I can call you at anytime? I asked again with my eyes glued to his handsome face.
"Of course Miss Hayes, feel free to call if you have any problem."
"Huh? I asked with disbelief.
Does he even know what he is about to commit himself to?
I guess he doesn't.
"When I have any problem? I don't have problems because I am Problem's best friend. He follows me everywhere.
"Miss Hayes." Mr. Tony called snapping his fingers before my eyes.
"What's wrong? Why did you space out?
"Uh, it's nothing."
"Okay then let's go, I'll drop you off."
I followed Mr. Tony into his car as his driver drove out of the restaurant. "My stop is here." I said, as I noticed where we were.
"Okay bye Miss Hayes." Mr. Tony waved and he rolled up the car window.
"Bye Mr. Tony." I waved, still finding it hard to believe that I got Three million doing nothing. I rushed to the hospital and I went straight to the cash department. I paid for papa's operation and also the hospital bills.
I rushed to Papa's doctor to inform him of the payment. "Wow Miss Hayes, How did you do it? The doctor asked looking at the receipts.
"I did nothing doctor." I stated truthfully but the doctor looked at me like I was speaking Jargons. "How then, did you get this much money in such a short time?
"Actually doctor, I did nothing but get married to the unknown."
