Chapter Fifty-seven: Love of a Grandmother
"Your grandmother has been in an accident, and she was taken to Hope."
Eloise did not even let the voice continue what they were saying, forgetting who they were in the first place as she rushed out of her apartment wearing only her pajamas. She didn't even care what flip-flop she wore or if she was wearing anything at all.
All she wanted was to get to her grandmother and make sure she was alright.
As if already knowing what happened, Liam and the other three were already waiting for her downstairs. She almost flew to the back seat, her whole body shaking and her eyes losing focus.
"Please take me to—"
"Don't worry, ma'am. We will." Liam finished what Eloise was saying, noticing how shaken she was.
