My Vampire Mate

Chapter one

Selene POV

I woke up chained up to a wall in a small dark room. They had wrapped wire dipped in holy water tightly around my wrist making me constantly bleed. They're keeping me drained of blood so I can't use any of my powers. I felt super weak, They made sure they came in every day to check the wire around my wrist and to collect some of the blood. I don't know just how long i had been here but it had to have been a while, from what I had picked up the little bit of conversation they wanted to harness power from my blood and use that to take down some other pack. I stayed quiet and let them do whatever they wanted, around 4,000 years ago I had put a spell on my blood which would protect it from being used without my permission. I could tell they were getting frustrated that they weren't getting anywhere with my blood. I had gotten into they're routine, once a day they would come in and make sure I was still bleeding then they would collect some of my blood and allow me a call to Lexi, it was their way of keeping me in check. I was expecting them to come in any minute but they didn't. They had never been late before and I was worried that something had happened, I just wanted to make sure Lexi was okay. Suddenly the door burst open and in came four of the regular guards. It took me a minute but if i looked closely enough I could see through the glamour. Then suddenly it was like the world stripped away and all i could see was this tall man with a chiseled jaw and jet black hair and forest green eyes and the most incredible body. I had never been so filled with love as i was in that moment. "Mate!" He yelled running over to me and ripping off my chains and gently removing the wire from my wrist. I fell into his arms too weak to hold myself any longer, he was stroking my face and it sent tingles all down my body. "I finally found you, come on i am getting you out of here now." 

"No no wait, they're holding my friend Lexi as leverage, please you have to save her please." I said looking up at them. They looked over at the one who was holding me. He nodded "Find the other girl Lexi and get her to safety, send Bryce back went you have her and he will help me get my mate out of here." They all nodded and then ran out of the room. "Th...thank you." I said, my voice barely a whisper, I was losing strength, I don't think I will be able to stay awake much longer. "Hey,hey stay with me, would it help if i gave you some of my blood?" he asked, I could hardly keep my eyes open, all I could do was nod as I was starting to lose consciousness. Then I could taste the blood going down my throat, suddenly I was drinking it down trying to be mindful about how much I took. His memories were flashing before my eyes, his pack, his parents, his childhood, his best friends. His name. Lucian, such an amazing name, it seemed to fit him so well. I pulled away and smiled up at him. "Lucian huh?" i said wiggling my brows at him. He looked confused "You got my name from my blood?" he asked. 

"Yes, I can see all your memories in your blood, your memories and your blood are a part of you and are connected. so far as I know I am the only vampire in existence who can do it, I can't control it either. I am sorry if I was intruding I should have tried to tell you before I drank from you." He reached down and grabbed my face in his hands, pulling my face up to look in his eyes. "You could never intrude on anything in my life, it's nothing I wouldn't have told you about, or shown you with my blood eventually if you wanted." He said before leaning down and placing a small kiss on the tip of my nose. I smiled up at him, I am 5,000 years old and I have never once been with anyone, I mostly stuck by myself and never formed big relationships besides with Lexi. I always had a feeling that I was missing a part of myself, like there was someone out there for me that I just hadn't found yet. Now knowing that i was mated to a wolf made so much sense. "Does it bother you that I am a vampire?" I asked him looking up at his face trying to get a read on his emotions. His brows immediately furrowed and he looked upset at the question. "No of course I don't mind that you're a vampire, you're my mate I have been waiting for you all my life, My pack is huge, the biggest in the world in fact. As far as I can remember our Luna's have always been the most powerful beings in the world.I am surprised for sure that you are a vampire but I am not upset about it, the moon goddess choose you for me for a reason." I realized he had no idea who I am, i got his name from his blood but he still didn't know who I am.

"Oh my goodness, I didn't introduce myself to you! I am so sorry, My name is Selene, but you most likely only know me as Thee original vampire." I said adding that last part very quickly hoping he didn't hear it.

"Thee original vampire? As in the vampire witch hybrid who is older then any other supernatural being on the planet?" his eyes getting wider and wider as he finished the sentence. I nodded looking down at my lap. he definitely wouldn't accept me now. Everyone always liked me until they found who i was and then they would either disappear on me or try and use me to get something they want. "Wow i never imagined my mate would be that awesome!" my head shot up looking at his smiling face. "I mean seriously, you're a freaking legend, I could never compare, I wonder how crazy awesome our kids will be! Oh my God this is incredible!" i never expected him to be this happy about it. The biggest smile broke out on my face as i pulled him into a hug, I had never been so happy in my life. Just then the door flew open and Bryce came running in. "We got Lexi and they're heading for the rendezvous spot, now we just need to get our Luna home." he said quickly. Lucian nodded picking me up and slowly we started making our way out of the house. We were almost there when the alarm went off. It wouldn't be long until they found us. The boys looked nervous. "Okay plan B, Lucian i might need some more blood, Bryce explain in detail where the rendezvous spot is, once those two things are done I am going to knock both of you out the last thing we want is for this to tie back Blood Moon pack, so when the guards find you you will tell them that I attacked you when you came in and I escaped, I will take care of everything else and we will all meet you at the spot got it?" they looked at me like I was insane. "I just got you I am not going to lose you again, this is too dangerous." said Lucian and I reached up and stroked his cheek. "They only captured me because they got a hold of Lexi, these wolves have no idea what i am capable of, just trust me." i punched them both in the face before they could respond, just enough to knock them out for a few seconds, I didn't want them out for too long. I ran outside and immediately they surrounded me. They part just enough to let the man from the night with Lexi come into the middle of the circle. "Selene, you don't want me to hurt your friend do you?" he asked with a smirk on his face. He didn't know she was gone yet which was good for me. i had learned in my time here that he was the Alpha of this pack and his name was Tyler Cole. I looked him right in his eyes and smirked "My friend is just fine and she will stay that way, we knew you were coming that night, we were prepared, i simply wanted intel  on you that is all and now I am going to take down." he tried to hide his fear but i could smell it on him. I jumped into the air and camouflaged myself before landing outside of the circle of men that had been surrounding me. i silently moved around the circle breaking necks left and right, tore out a few hearts, in a matter of minutes it was just the alpha, beta and I. i allowed myself to be seen again, i wanted them to know without a doubt who was responsible for killing them. "You should have known better Alpha Cole, I am not so weak as to be taken, especially not by a pack this small. i stay out of supernatural affairs and keep to myself but tonight you have brought out the monster. The monster that all monsters fear. Now i plan to stay out." i said before squaring up and waiting for the huge ass Beta to make  a move. He stepped forward moving towards me, we circled each other for a while before he went to throw the first punch. Bad choice, i easily ducked him and kicked the back of his knees causing them to break, when he fell i quickly got on his back and pulled his head clear off. i then turned back to the Alpha and tossed it down at his feet. "You will yield, what is left of your pack will merge with Blood Moon and you will be their prisoner while they decide what to do with you, if you don't yield i will simply light you're body on fire where you stand right now. The choice is yours." i said waiting for him to give me an answer. he silently nodded and bowed before me. I looked over to see Lucian and Bryce standing in the doorway mouths wide open. i knew it was extreme but they had threaten everything i cared about and i don't take that lightly. "Bryce, Alpha Cole here is our prisoner now and his pack will merge with ours if that is okay with the Alpha." i said waving him over to come grab Cole. He nodded and came and got him and started walking off towards the spot. "I am sorry if that was too harsh Lucian, i don't normally do stuff like this but he threaten you and Lexi and i couldn't let him off easy for that..." before i could finish my sentence he had come over and planted a passionate kiss on my lips. it was like my body was being set on fire, in a good way. the way his arm was wrapped around my waist and his fingers were in my hair it was like heaven on earth. after a few minutes he pulled back. "That was incredible, Yes it was a bit extreme but you took vengeance for those you love and I couldn't be more proud of how bad ass you are. But we are a team please remember that next time." he sad with sadness in his eyes at that last part. he was right i shouldn't have just run out like that and done everything myself. i looked down and nodded mumbling an apology. he pulled me into a tight hug before saying "Lets go home." I don't know if i would ever get use to that but it sure sounded nice. Knowing that the pack had been taken care of the rest of the group had taken off first. I had exhausted myself fighting everyone so i passed out before Lucian turned and carried us home. The last thing i remember is being picked up and put on something big and furry and warm before the darkness took over and i fell into a deep sleep.
