He woke up the next morning with the tingling sensation of tiny fingers poking at his cheek and nose and the sound of soft giggles filling the room. His brows furrowed as his senses slowly started to wake, and when he finally opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was the most innocent and pure ocean-blue eyes staring right into his. The little girl’s wide smile stretched from cheek to cheek.
