He left the room without listening to me, and thank goodness he didn't lock the door like the last time. I sat on the bed contemplating all that had happened and everything he had said. He didn't explain how he got to know my real name, and he also didn't explain why he kept me here. I wanted to ask him about it, but I was scared of how he might react to it.
I'm worried that there's something terrible going on here. Other than that, why else would he keep a girl like me who doesn't have any rivalry with anyone?
