Alan's POV:
David and I sat in the waiting area of the hospital waiting for Emerald to wake up. It's been 4-5 hours since they did the surgery. But still she hasn't regained consciousness. David send all the men back. Only two of them stayed back with us incase anything goes wrong.
David hasn't spoken to me since the time I have arrived. It's better that way. I love him a lot as a friend. He is like a brother to me, but at this time, I'm angry at him to take her to play with him without telling me about it. s**t, I'm angry with myself for letting her even go out at all. If I hadn't agreed she wouldn't be in this situation in the first place.
"Mr. lexon, the patient gained consciousness" one of the nurses came and said. As soon as she said that we both rushed to the room she was kept in.
