Emerald's POV:
I felt something moving under me. I shifted my face but then I felt something was poking at my cheeks. I opened my eyes and turned my face to see Alan's face. I smiled seeing that it was his beard that was poking on my cheeks. He turned towards my side and smiled looking at his sleeping self. He opened his eyes and looked at me and again closed it.
I snapped back to the reality got up when I felt he was about to open his eyes again. He was still sleeping in my lap and I even somehow ended up sleeping there as well. I wasn’t able to feel my legs anymore. I tried shifting my legs but it was difficult to move. I searched for a clock in the room. There was a broken clock lying on the floor but thankfully it was working. I was already 8 in the morning.
