Alan's POV:
As soon as Em slept we instructed the nurse to take care of her and call us if anything is needed. It was a long day so I just went back to my room and straight to the bed early.
In the middle of the night I heard someone shouting. When I realized who it was, I ran to her room to see Emerald was not on her bed anymore.
I could still hear her cry from somewhere in the room. I walked in the see her sitting down at the corner of the room with her palms covering her face. She was crying and shouting at the nurse.
"No...no don't c...come near me. Please ... please leave me alone." She said in between her sobs as soon as the nurse and tried reaching her.
"Em listen.. its me Alan..Em look at me" I said slowly moving towards her to not scare her even more.
