Agnes opened her eyes, but froze when she felt someone holding her; everything came rushing back and poof her face was cheery red. Her face became hot, what the hell she was thinking? Did fatigue turn her brain into mush; she was too bold. Wanting to get out of the hold; she wiggled and looked up to confirm Xavier was still sleeping. She stilled, her face turned redder; she wanted to dig a hole and hide in it.
Xavier could not help but smile at her reaction; he has been awake for a while and seeing the change in her expressions after she woke up was amazing. “So, you freeze when you are surprised; good to know”; Agnes finally unfroze hearing him. She cleared her throat and got out of his hold; getting up she took a comfortable position on the bed and so did Xavier.
