"Do you, Tyler Ryan Walker, take Anastasia to be your lawfully wedded wife?" The priest asks Mr Walker "I do" Replied almost immediately. "Do you, Anastasia William, take Tyler Ryan Walker to be your lawfully wedded husband?" the priest turned to me. "I… I…" the intense look Mr Walker was giving only made me more scared. His hold of my arm tightens. "I do" and then he released my hand but not completely letting me go. We exchanged rings, then he lifted my veil. "With the power bestowed in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride". As the guests are clapping, he placed his hand at the side of my face and pulled me in for a kiss. His lips barely touched mine, I wouldn't call that a kiss. But with the way he positioned us everyone thought we kissed. We stood in that position for a while before he straighten himself back to where he stood. Our eyes still connected to each, he then focuses on the guests watching us, unbelievable. We stepped down from the alter and an elderly woman, in her late fifties, started coming towards us grinning ear to ear. I think it's his mother. "Congratulations my darling." I assume she doesn't know how Julie looks like, so she won't know if I am her or not "Thank you ma'am" I said putting on a big fake smile, she cupped my face "you are so beautiful, my child, I'm sorry we didn't get to meet before the wedding. I'm Tyler's mother grace" she say as she pulls me in for a hug. "It's nice to meet you, but you can call me ana, most people do." I said holding her for a little bit. The looks she gave made me feel secure, even if my 'husband' turns out to be an asshole, his mother can be my peace. We are taken to the venue for the reception, auntie and uncle martin left in their car, I and Mr Walker in a different car. The drive to the venue was quiet… uncomfortably quiet. Mr Walker did not even utter a single word after we exchanged vows. I am not saying he should talk a lot, just something to lift the tension. Upon our arrival, I looked at how the decorations were beautifully made. I didn't expect anything less from Uncle Martin as it was supposed to be his only daughter's wedding after all. I am somewhat angry at how this whole thing is messed up but angrier that my uncle will never do this for me, he will never go this grand for my wedding. I shrugged it off and sat at our reserved seat. I looked at Mr Walkers and noticed his tie is a bit crooked. I want to help him fix it, but I was scared to piss him off more than he already is. So I made a signal to his mum about his tie using hand gestures. I must have looked weird making gestures with my hands, that made him turn to look at me raising a brow. Thankfully, his mum finally got what I was saying and smiled at me. She stood from her seat, walked to where we are and fix it for him. I saw the look on his face when he realized the reason for my silly hand gestures. His mum came to me after she fixed his tie "you are his wife, why do you need me to help fix his tie dear?" She placed her hands gently on my shoulder "I know you were not ready to get married to him, I know. He might look like he's cruel but he is a nice boy, he'll treat you right." And look at her with a nervous smile "and if he does let me know, I'll make sure to spank him for you, okay?" She says, frowning playfully. That made me chuckle a little. "Okay, I'll do well to inform you when he does" I say to her with a smile, she smiles back and goes back to sit down. With a smile on my face I turned to look at Mr Walker and my smile immediately vanished, he was already staring at me intensely "you know you could have just told me to fix my tie right?" he asked, raising his brow. As he asks, all could focus on was his voice, how deep and raspy it is "you didn't have to call my mum, make her leave her seat just to come fix it for me" he added irritatingly, snapping me out of my thoughts. When I looked at him he was still waiting for me to answer him. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you" I just thought since you have not spoken to me ma..maybe you did not want me talking to you" I said not looking in his eyes "that's why I asked your mum to do it" I added in a low voice. I hope he is not going to be like a control freak. He didn't say anything, he just looked back at the guests. While still at the table, some of his guests and partners congratulated him on his wedding and hope they'll get to work with him in the future. I just sat there giving my best smile and thanking them as they congratulated him. Finally, our food is served. I spent no time digging in (not literally), as I placed the first slice of the chicken breast in my mouth, I moaned at how delicious it was. He gave me a look that says 'what the f**k are you doing' but I did not care. I am onto my fourth slice when the song "perfect" by ed Sheeran starts to play, Mr Walker stands up and looks at me with a smile, a fake smile "Mrs Walker, will you do me the honor of dancing with you?" At this point everyone was looking, giving the 'awe' expression on their faces. I swallowed hard and took his hand. He leads to the center of the dance floor. He placed his hand on my hips and the other took a hold of my hand, I then placed my hand on his chest. We swayed to the rhythm of the music. The song has nothing to do with how our relationship is, we are not in love at all, we barely even talk to each other. My eyes are glued to the ground and I feel him pull me a little closer by the waist "What's your name?" he asks me. I look up in total disbelief "you don't know my name?" I ask feeling disappointed, he just looks down at me not caring one bit. "I will not be asking you if I do now, will I?" His looks at me with no expression at all on his face "how can you get married to someone without at least know their name?" I ask, trying to look for an expression. He just kept quiet waiting and shrugged "my name is ana" "Your name is not just Ana, what is your full name?" he asks irritably, still looking at me intensely. "You know my name from when we exchanged vows, so if you can't remember, I'm not telling you my name". I say it proud of myself, breaking eye contact and looking back down. I know he is handsome, the most gorgulooki g man I've ever seen, but his attitude is nasty, even though he has the most beautiful eyes, sharp jawline, let's not forget muscular he is. His body is perfectly suited in his tux, his curly hair…. Wait what! Ana get yourself together! Why I'm I thinking of him that way? I'm supposed to hate this man. No more thoughts Ana, no more thoughts. Snap out of it. I felt a tight squeeze on my waist, a little too tight for comfort, I look back at him to see him looking above my head "stop, you're hurting me" I snapped at him, that only made him squeeze tighter "stop, please" I pleaded, my voice a little bit shaky. "Next time I ask you a question, I want an answer. Do I make myself clear?" My eyes begin to water. "My name is Anastasia Williams," I say, looking down, not letting him see my tears. "Let's get out of here" he says, letting go of my waist and holding my hand, leading us out of the reception. I'm in for a lot of trouble, what has now become of my life?
