Cari looks at Chase confused: “what’s going on? Should I be freaked out?”
Chase grabs her hand: “ No, but I’ll warn you, what I’m about to tell you and show you aren’t easy to understand, and yeah...you might freak out. I have never shared this with anyone but being my mate you deserve to know what you’re getting into with Jason and I.”
Cari shakes her head: “Okay, whatever it is we can all work through it and figure out what to do about this whole two-mates situation.”
“Cari, I need you to keep an opened mind and if you feel the urge to scream or freak out I get it but please don’t run out the door.”
“I promise Chase, I won’t run. Just tell me already. The anxiety of not knowing is grand.”
