“First let me ask you this, what’s your take on mates?”
“I know they exist but I don’t have one and I’m not sure I ever will.”
“Why do you say that Chase?”
“It’s very complicated, it might be a little too much to get into right now.”
Hmmm, Jason said something similar to that. What is causing them both to feel that way?
“Chase your brother told me something similar to that but you’re both wrong.”
“What do you mean? We have never come across anyone that our wolves have claimed as their mate. The closest I’ve come to my wolf acting any way a wolf would act around their mate is with you.”
