Victor stared at the screen, the surprise was clear on his face. He didn't think she would be pregnant. When his mother said twins, his gaze turned to her, then back to the screen. That's when he saw the second heart beating. Jason's words echoed inside his head. "How you are going to react in front of her is so very important." hearing those words again seemed to snap him out of his frozen state. He turned to Anna and wrapped her into his arms.
"We're going to have twins," Anna said with a smile on her face as she hugged him so tightly.
"I love you so much Anna," he said holding her.
"Victor," Katie said looking at her son.
"Yeah?"
"You need to keep a close eye on her, she needs to be careful," Katie said warning them both.
Vincent finally reacted, "You can't be serious." he said looking at Victor. "You are not keeping them."
"Shut up," Victor said in a warning tone.
"THEY ARE NOT YOURS!" Vincent yelled at him.
"They are ours." Victor said glaring at Vincent, "You need to leave"
"Mom, get them out of her," Vincent said staring at Katie.
Katie saw Anna protecting her stomach as Victor moved to shield her.
"Vincent, you need to leave," Katie said using her stern mother voice.
"Mom, you know what he did to her. You can't let them live," he said even more agitated, Jason pulled him out of the room.
"That's it." Jason said glaring at him, "What the hell is going on?"
"Those pups are not Victor's, that means he, he" Vincent punched a hole into the wall.
"I know that girl was always with you, I don't know what the hell happened to make things change but you don't get to act that way. Those pups are hers, she is his mate, he is accepting them. You don't get a vote here! Do you understand me?"
Vincent stared at Jason. "She is supposed to carry my pups, now I have to watch her with Victor and that is hard enough, I can't stand by while she brings that animals pups into this world."
"Your mate is having your pup any time now, focus on her. Let Victor focus on Anna, she is having those pups. If you missed it in there, she is afraid of you. She thinks you are going to harm them, Victor won't allow that to happen."
"How can he allow this to happen," Vincent said shaking his head. "A constant reminder."
"Do you think Brandon, Sven, or Griffin were happy about Skye or Valentina not being theirs? They accept the girls because they are Kylie's, Victor is doing the same thing. They are half Anna's and that is all Victor needs to know."
Vincent stared at Jason. "I-I understand. I didn't think about it that way."
"Anna is desperate to be a mother, you can not interfere with that," Jason warned Vincent.
"I won't."
"Go, go find Rosie. She is feeling left out a lot lately. Go and tell her what is happening." Jason said staring Vincent down.
"I will go after I apologize," Vincent told him.
He quickly went back to the room, "I'm sorry," he said as soon as he opened the door. "I was an asshole once again. Get her ready to return to the house. I am going to get Rosie and we can leave."
Vincent went to find Rosie, she smiled when she saw him approaching. He held out his hand to her. "I have some news," he said smiling at her.
Chance and Chase also looked on, "What news?" they asked in unison.
"Anna is going to have twins," he said with a small smile on his face.
"Are you sure?" Chance asked.
"Yeah, they are pretty excited about it. We are going to head back. Anna is pretty tired and I am sure that Rosie is too."
Chance and Chase were both grinning ear to ear watching the two leaving.
"Twins," Chase said laughing.
"Here we go again." Chance said laughing. "They are going to pay for all the antics they were responsible for when they were young."
"I can't wait to watch." Chase agreed.
Vincent returned to the pack-hospital holding Rosie's hand. "I do love you, Rosie. I can't wait for our pup to be born."
Rosie smiled at him. "I can't believe Anna is having twins. How exciting."
Vincent cringed, "Yeah, very exciting." an attempt at a smile.
"Let's take them back," Vincent said to Victor.
Anna looked at Vincent and then back at Victor, she started to get up from the bed only to be stopped. Victor picked up Anna, "Ok, let's go."
