The Choice

The Lies She Tells Herself.

        Isis got a message from her cousin Adam. She picked up her Samsung S7 phone and looked at it. She smiled and replied back to her cousin "Yeah, I will be over in like ten minutes." She placed her phone down and got ready. She put her hair up in a messy curly bun. She threw on some black ripped skinny jeans, also put on a blue crop top that was showing cleavage. It also hung of the shoulders . She put on light brown heeled boots. She put on all natural make up except for her lips, which was a rose red lip color called "Seducing Nights" Her cousin asked if she would come over and spend the night. Since he wanted to play video games together. Isis dressed like this just in case Joe was there.

        Isis texted her dad who was working twelve hour shifts again. He was working six at night to six in the morning. She asked if it was Okay and he said yes. So Isis grabbed a leather jacket since it was a cool spring night with a chance of rain and thunderstorms. Isis grabbed her bag that was filled with stuff for staying the night at someone's house. Isis grabbed her keys. Walked down the three flight of stairs out the door. Isis hopped in her light blue 1996 Ford Explorer that she just changed the oil on. She rolled the window's down blaring country music and headed to her aunt's for the night.

        Ten minutes passed and she parked her Explorer in the driveway. there was two other cars there as well. She wonder whose car was the white one, but she knew the black tiny car belonged too Joe. Isis smiled and did the score sign outside the house. Isis walked up to the door and knocked. Her aunt Sherry opened the door and let her in with a smiling face. She asked "So are you spending the night too?" Isis looked at her and said "Yes, if that's okay with you of course." Her aunt nodded and said " It's always okay." Isis looked at her aunt and tilted her head " So, who is all staying the night and here?" Her aunt said looking at her "Bret, Mark, Lane, and Joe. You will be sleeping in my room tonight with the door locked. I will sleep on the couch like I always had since your uncle died in late February. Now it's late April. To months since i been with out him. We were married for 28 years." I softly smiled at her and pat her back " Don't worry aunt Sherry. He is in a better place. Since that happened i was able to move here. Like the saying goes "When comes great sorrow, come great happiness. Y'all been happy since I moved here right?" Her aunt smiled and hugged her tightly " Yes, that is true. Everything you just said is true dear."  i smiled and hugged her back.

        Isis smiled and said " Good." Isis smiled again thinking about Joe. Her aunt knew that look all to well and placed her hand on Isis shoulders and looked her dead in the eyes with a serious, but caring look. Her aunt said softly. " Isis don't fall for Joe, He is bad news and bad with girlfriends. You need to be careful. Promise me you will be careful?" Isis looked at her and smiled brightly. She knew for a fact that her family was always overprotective of her. always shield her from the bad, but she needed to learn how to make mistakes so she won't make them in the future. Isis softly said while looking at her Aunt Sherry. " Yes, I know, but don't worry. I don't like him like that and I don't plan on too." Isis knew that was a lie waiting to happen and rec havoc all over her life. Her aunt knew well, but let it slide. "Okay, I believe you. The boys are in Austin's room playing the Xbox.Tell the boys I am ordering pizza." Isis nodded and her aunt let go of her. Isis walked to Austin"s room and opened the door after her got on the phone.

        "Hi boys, aunt Sherry is ordering pizzas for everyone." Joe stared at her stun by her looks and the outfit Isis was wearing. The boys cheered for the pizza and than Joe stared at her intensely. Isis notice his stare and Isis looked away eyeing her cousins so she could hide my blush and the electric shocks Isis felt by Joe staring at her. The blush quickly fade and Joe said in his deep voice. "Does she need us to pick up the pizzas?" Isis walked over to her cousins to avoid contact or looking at Joe. She said softly " I do not know. Ask her yourself." Joe notice her movements and said " Okay I will." He walked out of the room to ask her. Isis breathing and awkwardness settle down.

        A few minutes later Joe came back in and said " Yeah she wants us to pick up the six pizzas. Who wants to go." Isis looked up from the bed and said "I will go by myself." Isis was wanting to do anything she possibly can to avoid Joe tonight so her mind does wonder and she doesn't get drawn in by him. Isis thought to herself " You can do this. avoid him as much as possible. You don't like him and you two will not be together what so ever. Whatever happened that night between us was an only one time thing which Joe stated to her by his eyes and actions. You understand that." Isis shakes her head and looked at the TV to watch the boys games. Than Joe said in his deep voice eyeing her like she was a meal to him and nothing more. "I will go with you and help you with the pizzas." Joe was very dominate and intense. That was his vibe he let off. He was on obvious bad boy. When people are with him, he brings trouble on way or another. Girls trembled at his touch and males fear him unless they are his friends.

        Isis looked at the TV to avoid his intense dominating dark eyes. That made her want him. His whole muscular body and the way he stared at her and talked to her, made her want him and have a tingling satiation down below and made her heart pound, made her breath heavy and not in a rhyme at all. " No, I am good. I don't need no damn man help, especially from you." Joe had a half smirk on his face and said " Is that so. Than I won't bother going with you at all. Since you need no man help." Joe said in sarcastic and playful tone. Finding it funny that Isis said that, but he knew all to well that he wanted to get her alone. He wanted to be her knight in shinning armor. Yet, Joe was to proud to admit that to  himself for now. He had to fight the urge to take her to the garage and please her, to make her his for good. Which he fought well, for now.

        About an hour passed and her aunt came into the room and said " Alright. Isis please go get he pizzas. Here is the money you need to pay with and some extra money for gas." She handed Isis a fifty dollar bill. Isis was ready to get out and get the pizza. She quickly stood up and rushed to grab the money. before Isis good grabbed it Joe towered over her and took the money. He said sweetly to aunt Sherry. "We will be back with the pizzas." Isis and her family looked shocked about his and she said " Um, excuse me! I don't need you to come with me I can grab them myself!" Isis stood staring up at him with her arms crossed under her breast. which made them look bigger. Joe looked her up and down and grinned, which made Isis blushed lightly, but her pride blocked that real quick. Isis was trying so hard to avoid him, but yet he is trying to not avoid her! Like what the hell is with the mix signals make up your f*****g mind. 

        Aunt Sherry looked at her and said " Honey, there is a lot of pizzas, go with him so he could help." Isis looked at her aunt with a look that said " I thought you didn't want me to be around him?" Isis tried to reach for the money and Joe held it up in the air as high as his arms could go. He laughed and looked at her shaking his head. "Come one short stack." He walked away to the door and Isis chased him jumping up to grab the money he dodge every move to get that money. "I AM NOT SHORT!" Isis said with a frustrating tone and Joe laughed " Yes you are. compared to me." Isis rolled her eyes and gave in. She walked to her Explore and hopped in. Joe hopped into the passenger side of the Explorer. Isis drove to Little Caesars pizza joint in town in silence.

        A little bit later they were there. Joe and Isis walked inside the pizza joint, but the cashier guy told them to wait a little while longer since they still got two pizzas and bread sticks to make. Isis nodded and grinned. She placed her hand on the guys shirt and leaned down showing her cleavage. She said in a low s****l tone to the tall blonde college guy. "mmm oh really. how long shall we wait or can you make it go faster." Isis ran her hands up his chest staring at him leaning over the counter. She wanted them to be done ASAP so she could avoid Joe again. The tall blonde blushed and smiled shyly and said softly. "Usually in thirty minutes, but since you are already here we can get it done in fifteen minutes." Isis smiled and brought the cashier closer to her. She whispered in his ear. " That will be great dear." Isis than blew in his ear and the blonde guy gasped. Isis pulled away and walked out the door to the explore to wait with Joe.

        Joe seemed a little jealous and mad. he wanted to punch that dude in the face than take Isis right there in the parking lot in the car, because she was is in his mind. He want no other man stench or hands on her. Joe want to dominate her and posses her, but he didn't and held back. He got into the car and asked Isis " What was that about and why did you do that. Guys can get the wrong idea. Why are you acting like your aren't a virgin when you are?" Isis glared and turned quickly to him "Excuse me! Who said i was a virgin and why does that interaction have anything to do with the likes of you!?" Joe looked at her dead in the eye and said coldly " It's very obvious that you are a virgin. You don't have a dirty mind and it is written all over your face and the way you walk." Isis rage came out. 

        It was like anger took over her body. She yelled " Excuse me! You know nothing about me and you don't care to know anything about me. To you i am just a virgin you want to take and than throw away!" She raised her hand and swingeing to slap him across the face, but Joe quickly stopped her hand and held in in his hands. Isis struggled to get her hand free, but couldn't so she went to strike him with her right hand that was free. Joe quickly grabbed that hand. He stared into her big blue eyes wit his dark and mysterious eyes. Ice felt her face heat up. She realized her breathing got heavy and out of rhythm. Her heart was beating rapidly, so she tried to get free once again and he yanked her closer into him. Their lips inches away and he said staring at her in a deep dominating s****l tone "Why are you fighting me? Why are you avoiding me in anyway possible. I been trying to get you all alone tonight and you wouldn't even dared to look or talk to me. I had to do something to get you alone."

        Isis blushed more and looked away. " That is none of your business." she than turned her head and glared at him. "Let me go you damn player, scoundrel, jerk, liar, che-." Before she could say anything else his lips crashed against her roughly and he kissed her intensely. It was the kind of kiss no one would forget, it sent electric shocks all the way through both of there bodies. She couldn't hold back anymore. She kissed back passionately and roughly. Which made him want her even more. Joe picked Isis up while they weer kissing and sat her on his lap. He kissed your lips, bit her lower lip roughly, kissed down her jawline, nibbled on her ear, and kissed down her neck whiling also nibbling on her neck. Isis looked up at he roof of the Ford explore and gasped with every touch. moaned with every bite and kissed. She was like liquid in his hands. 

        Isis tried to pull away try to leave him, but he wasn't allowing it. She wasn't fighting to hard to get free either. Isis thought to herself. "This is wrong, this is stupid. i am an i***t, he still has a girlfriend. I need to stop this quickly. What do I do?" Isis thought than grinned she grabbed the back oh his head hold a handful of his hair in her hand. She yanked him and and bit his neck hard enough to hear him make a soft sound. That's when she saw her moment to escape and she did just that. she opened the passenger door and jumped out after moving her legs to easily get get out. She wiped her mouth and clean the lipstick up. She quickly rushed in grabbed the pizzas and bread sticks with Joe following her. He grabbed four pizzas. Isis grabbed the last two and bread sticks. She said bye and ran out. once they both got into the car, she placed the pizza on Joe's lap and drove back to the house in silence.
