The entire class applauded.
Meanwhile, Elira stared at him with wide eyes.

She turned toward him.
"Then tell your mouth to shut it."
Lucien smiled.
"You're not the one who gets to tell it."
Elira instantly froze.
Her eyes widened.
A faint blush appeared on her face.
"Ah… sorry."
Lucien leaned back in his chair.
"Too late."
Elira sighed.
"Can you stop talking?"
"Okay, fine."
Then Lucien added casually,
"By the way…"
"You're not very good at being evil."
Elira nearly jumped out of her seat.
"Excuse me, mister?"
Lucien shrugged.
"Nothing."
"Forget it."
Then both of them returned to their work.
But Elira couldn't focus anymore.
What is happening?
In the game, he's supposed to say these kinds of lines to the heroine.
Not me.
This isn't what happened in the manga at all.
Why is everything changing?
Before she could think further, the class ended.
Soon, everyone left the classroom.
Only Elira remained behind.
She sighed.
Then she stood up and started cleaning her desk.
Meanwhile, Lucien had forgotten one of his books.
So he returned to the classroom to retrieve it.
The moment he entered, he saw Elira standing there alone.
He quietly walked closer.
Then he heard her muttering to herself.

"It's much better if I keep my distance from that Duke."
"Otherwise, my villainess mission will fail."
Lucien raised an eyebrow.

Before he could think further, Elira turned around.
And immediately bumped into him.

She lost her balance and started falling.
Elira stumbled.

When she opened her eyes, Lucien was right in front of her.

Elira immediately looked away.
Then she remembered she was supposed to act like a villainess.

Lucien let her stand properly.

Elira's thoughts became a complete mess.
I literally just said I should stay away from him.
And then I bumped into him.
And he caught me.

This definitely wasn't in the story.
She pointed toward the door.
"Move."
Lucien crossed his arms.
"I won't."
Elira blinked.
"What does that mean, you won't move?"
"I want to go."
"I'm not letting you."
She stared at him.
"And why?"
Lucien smiled slightly.
"First, tell me what you meant earlier."
The moment he said that, Elira froze.
He heard me?!
She immediately looked away.
"N-None of your business."
"Okay."
Lucien suddenly leaned closer.
Then he whispered into her ear,
"Whatever you are…"
"I'll be keeping my eyes on you."
Elira's face instantly turned red.
His eyes were right in front of hers.
For a moment, she almost lost her confidence.
Almost.
Then she remembered.
Villainess mode.
A confident smile appeared on her face.
She stepped forward.
Then smoothly slipped past him.
When she was finally free from his little barrier, she turned around, giving him the most villainess-like smile she could manage.
She looked directly into his eyes.
"Then keep your eyes away from me."
A dangerous smile appeared on her lips.
"If you don't want them broken, poor boy."
After saying that, she walked away.
Lucien stood there silently.
Then he laughed.
"She's definitely different."
A small smile remained on his face.
Soon, he left as well.
However…
Neither of them noticed that someone had been watching the entire scene.
From the classroom window.
The heroine looked toward the hallway.
Then she whispered,
"Lucien Ravenscroft…"
"Since when were you interested in Elira Vane?"
