I was tongue-tied for a few seconds but to save myself from the silence, I just ignored what he said and continued our friendly conversation.

"Of course, she is really special to me. So, you thought earlier that I am gay because I still do not have a girlfriend yet?” He asked sarcastically. He then smirked.
"I was just joking and I know you are not like that!" I forced myself to be saved from another embarrassment that might happen.
