Yara was on her way out to meet Harrison for a date. She had just been promoted, and her mood was as good as it had been in a long time.
She had barely pulled her car out when a figure stepped into the road and blocked her path.
"Yara, you miserable woman! Look what you've done to me!"
"How did you manage to erase all of it? How did you wipe away everything that happened?"
It was Ava. She was wearing a hospital gown, her face gaunt and wrecked, a stream of curses pouring out of her.
