Sydney

I woke up around 9 and was surprised because I never wake up this early. I walked around the house and seen that I was the only one up, so I called Audrey to make sure she was still coming. After she basically yelled at me for calling so early, I hung up.

I was in the kitchen about to cook breakfast. I got out the things I needed to make buttermilk pancakes with buttermilk biscuits, sausages, cheesey grits, and eggs.

As I was cooking, I heard someone coming down the stairs. I turn around and see a sleepy but smiling Damian.

"Morning Sydney" Damian said.

"Good morning Damian"

"Can I help you cook?" he asked leaning against the counter. He wasn't wearing a shirt and my eyes ran down his arms, his muscles looking amazing.

"No that's ok. I don't need you burning down my house." I finally met his eyes.

"Yea you right but I got a quick question. How come you live here alone and you're only 18? " he asked. Damn, I was hoping he never asked.

"I don't really wanna talk about it." I said simply.

"Ok I understand, but I want to earn your trust." he said.

"Ok" I sighed. " 2 years ago on my 16th birthday I did stay with my mom. She had a boyfriend named Jordan. After my sweet 16, everyone left and my mom left for work. So it was just me and Jordan but I trusted him. Well I was in my room and he came in and said 'it's time for you to finally to become a woman. I waited so long for this day'.. I'll never forget those words or the look on his face when he said that" I shook my head as tears started to fall.

" I caught on and tried to grab the scissors in my drawer, but he grabbed me too quick and threw me on the bed. I kept fighting him but he was too strong. He was unzipping his pants and pulling down my shorts. He was about to put his d**k in me until my mom told him to get off me. He looked scared and surprised and kept saying I wanted it and was begging him. I was crying and saying it's not true but she didn't believe me. She kicked me out that same day and I had nowhere to go. I stayed with Audrey and her family for about 6 months and found a job. When I had enough money, I left and bought this place." I said relieved the story was over.

I felt Damian wrap his arms around my waist and squeeze me tight. I turned around and gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"You haven't seen him since, have you?" I shook my head "Good, cause I was about to ask for his address"

When Keyshawn woke up, breakfast was ready and Audrey was just pulling up. I made everyone's breakfast and gave it to them.

We spent breakfast talking and joking around. I would glance over and see Damian smiling and staring at me every once and awhile too.

I finished eating and made my way upstairs to get dressed. I wanted to wear my white and pink playboy bunny bikini, but knew Keyshawn would jump down my throat about it.

Oh well.

Audrey came Into my room giving me this scary look. "What" I asked.

"Who is Mr.Fine, and why he keep looking at you like he wanna suck your face off?" she asked arching an eyebrow at me.

"That's Damian. He Keyshawn friend, and he was not looking at me like that." I said smiling.

"Wow I'm gonna pretend like you didn't just lie to my face. Do you like him?

"I guess. It's something about him. He different and you know I have trouble trusting people. But I honestly feel like I can trust him" I said.

"Awe Syd, that's so cute. But you know If he hurt you, all you gotta do is call me. I'll be here in 2.6 seconds ready to whoop some ass." she said

"I'll remember that" I said laughing at her.

We talked a little more. When she left, I packed a towel, sunscreen lotion, blankets and snacks. I walked down stairs to see everyone waiting for me. Damn I didn't think I took that long.

Damian

When Sydney made her way downstairs, all I could think about was how beautiful she looked.

Since she told me about what happen between her mom, Jordan and her, I started to like her more. She could've done nothing but feel sorry for herself but she didn't. She pushed through it all.

I'm glad her friend coming with us, so me and her could have some alone time together.

Keyshawn and I were outside loading up the car "Aye, you know my sister like you right?"

"Naw, I ain't know that. How you know though?" I asked

"I overheard her talking to Audrey about you. She was saying how you different and she feel she can trust you, blah blah" he said while puttin the chairs in the trunk.

"Good s**t. Now that I know she like me, I can try and get with her." I said smiling hard as f**k.

"Cool, just remember what I said about my fist and your face"

The girls came running out the door towards me and Keyshawn. We looked at each other confused "I call shotgun" Sydney yelled. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Syd, get in the back with Damian" Audrey said putting emphasis on my name.

"No I'm getting in the front. You get in the back with him." Sydney said getting in the front.

"Ok, I guess I'll just tell him everything you to-" Audrey couldn't even finish cause Sydney was already out the front seat with the back door open.

"How am I suppose to sit back here when there is no space" she asked confused.

"That sound like a 'you' problem" both Keyshawn and Audrey said together then started laughing.

"It's ok ma, you can come sit on my lap" I said. There really wasn't room left except for on my lap.

"I'll pass" she said looking down

"Sydney, you got .14 seconds to get in this car or I'm leaving you." Keyshawn said.

She looked at me and started to blush a little. She climbed on my lap but I can tell she was uncomfortable because she kept moving.

"You good?" I asked

" Yea I'm fine" she said. She stopped moving and slowly started to lean up against me but then she would pop up.

"You can lean on me if you want. I won't bite." I said with a smirk. She playfully rolled her eyes.

"Ok" She melted against me. I put my arms around her waist, and she laid her head in the crock of my neck. With Sydney wrapped in my arms, everything felt so right. I ended up falling asleep.

Sydney

I woke up to Audrey and Keyshawn yelling at me and Damian.

"Get y'all ass up" Keyshawn said. I tried to sit up but I couldn't. I looked down to see Damian's arms wrapped around my waist. I looked at his face and he looked perfect. I couldn't help but stare at his lips.

"Got somethin you wanna say?" he asked. I didn't even know he was up.

"No" I said trying to get out his grip before he pulled me back. He wouldn't let go so I decided to so stop trying.

"Sydney"

"Yes Damian" I answered.

"I like you" he said shocking me.

I looked at him and stared into his eyes. "Really? You don't know me enough to like me" I asked

"Yes really and I know enough." he said not breaking eye contact.

"Well I think I like you too" I said smiling and kissing his cheek.

"I know you do." He said cockily.

"Boy please" I said getting out of his grip, grabbing my bag and going towards the beach.

I was looking for Audrey. When I found her I walked over and laid on the blanket she had out.

"Oh so you can lay on my blanket, but can't help bring everything out the car? Oh I see you" Audrey said laying next to me.

"Where Keyshawn? " I asked

"Over there talking to some hoe" she said with pure jealousy In her voice. Keyshawn and Audrey had this thing for each other even though Keyshawn is 3 years older.

I looked over to see what girl Keyshawn was talking to. She was alright in the face but had an ass like DAMN! The girl seen me looking at her and gave me a stank look.

Strike one.

Audrey and I were talking and laughing when Keyshawn and the girl came walking over to us. I heard Audrey say something but didn't hear her clearly.

"Audrey don't start nothing. I ain't in a mood to beat a b***h ass for coming at you the wrong way." I said

"We'll see" she said

"Audrey, Syd, this is Monica. Monica this is my sister and her friend. "

"Nice to meet you" I said.

"Whatever"she said

I saw the way Audrey was sizing the girl up and knew there was a problem.

"Monica don't talk to my sister like that. The f**k wrong with you?" Keyshawn asked

"I'm sorry baby. I'm just frustrated. I haven't had any of your good di-"

"b***h please" Audrey said loud enough for Monica to hear her.

"Excuse me" said Monica

" You heard me" said Audrey

" I ain't got time for hoes like you, so shut the f**k up" Monica said. Audrey stood up and was now all up in Monica face.

Now I know I told her not to start nothing.
