My voice sounded pained and Bailey was silent for a moment before I heard her voice, “Bri, what happened?” “I need you and Wes to get the pups in the car and head straight to Crimson River.” Since leaving the office, my heart hasn’t slowed. I can feel the rapid thump in my ears, giving me a dull headache. Between that and Aspen’s whimpering, it was impossible to focus. I tried to see where Oliver had taken Brody, but it was useless. By the time I made it to the lobby, they were long gone. “Bri. Talk to me.....why???” Bailey was yelling. I was lost in my thoughts for a moment, “Sorry. I will explain more when I get back. Just please, get them, and take them home with you guys. They are in danger.” “s**t. Okay. Be safe.
