Being like this with River felt like nothing I’d ever experienced before. It almost felt as if my life had stalled at some point, and now I was living it to the fullest because fate or the universe or karma had decided we should be reunited. River had brought color into my life, and while nothing would change who I was on a fundamental level, I wouldn’t become allosexual just because he was, I realized that at least so far I wasn’t s*x-repulsed in the least.
Touching him like this was an intimacy I would’ve never known I wanted before him. I’d thought I was fine without this, and I had been. But being in this moment with him, watching as his body jackknifed at the slightest touch, it…it was everything to me.
